• "Fantastic stay at The Boathouse."

  A very welcoming and comfortable property equipped with everything you could want for a family holiday. The kitchen was well stocked with the essentials and appliances (there was even an air fryer) and they had a large selection of books and board games suitable to keep everyone entertained. We would definitely stay here again.

• "This was our second holiday at The Boathouse, Tenby - booked through Sykes Cottages."

  We love both the Boathouse and the beautiful setting of Tenby - only a 15 minute walk away. Facilities are brilliant and it truly is a very comfortable and extremely well-appointed home-from-home. Everything you can think of has been thoughtfully provided by the friendly hosts Tanya and Pete, and their kind and generous welcome is outstanding. We love it!

• "We had a briiliant week at the Boathouse, the facilities were 5 star, everything had been thought of."

  Our hosts were super and very friendly. We particularly enjoyed spending time with Darcy & Rosie the owners friendly dogs. We would highly recomnend the Boathouse as the perfect spit to explore Tenby and the surrounding area.

• "Picking the tiniest nit."

  I would suggest the inclusion of of a non slip mat in the downstairs shower, as it provided to be a bit slippy at times. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay.

  The generous parking space adjacent to the property was a big advantage. It was handy having a supermarket within walking distance, and there was easy access to routes out of the town to explore the local area.

• "Nice and comfortable, well equipped, the only downside for us was not having a wardrobe in the bedrooms."

  the bedroom nearer the bathroom ,a wardrobe would fit where the large chest of doors are- substitute this for a bedside table ( the wardrobe being in the space outside the 2 bedrooms) Other than that, a very nice property

• "A great place to stay and within easy reach of the picturesque little seaside town of Tenby."

  A “unique” cottage with most of the living space on the first floor, with lofty ceilings and enjoying oodles of daylight from lots of rooflights. • "Beautiful cottage, booked for my Mum's 80th birthday."

  Weather was miserable on some days, but the cottage was lovely to relax in when it was pouring down with rain. Everything thought about regarding kitchen contents to make your stay comfortable. Loved meeting the owners dogs :-)

• "Really lovely, comfortable beds and well appointed kitchen."

  Two shower rooms, one with a bath, both with toilets. All fittings and furniture are modern and in keeping with the style of the building. Garden area well kept and generous size. Parking area conveniently next to the accommodation. All in all an excellent choice in a peaceful area of Tenby, but only a few minutes from all the facilities Tenby has to offer. Highly recommended.

• "We loved this property."

  The downstairs shower was so powerful and both bathrooms were very nicely appointed. If you like a hard mattress then you’ll love the bed. For us we could have done with a topper. Great facilities including a dishwasher, washer and dryer - we didn’t need to use them but it’s nice to have the option. The two large sofas were extremely comfortable. The property was only about 5 minutes in the car to Tenby front. We would love to return.

• "We had a lovely stay at The Boathouse last week."

  The property was just as it said in the brochure, if not better, and the location was ideal as it was only about 15 minutes to walk into town. Although there are houses surrounding the property, it was a really quiet place to stay. It was amazing and we will definitely be back next year! As for the property owners, they were really helpful and friendly and always there if you needed help for anything.

• "The PERFECT family getaway!"

  The Boathouse is a stunning holiday home that has everything you need. So we’ll equipped, spacious and the beds are extremely comfy. We visited for a week with our 2 children age 6 and 2. Everything was close by so we were able to do so much. The nearby beaches are beautiful and Folly Farm and Tenby Dinosaur Park are less than a 15 minutes drive. We will definitely book The Boathouse again if staying in Tenby.

• "The accommodation is only three years old and built to a high standard."

  All the facilities are modern with quality furnishings. Tanya, our host, was very welcoming and helpful. The Boathouse is only about ten minutes walk from the centre of Tenby and has its own off-road parking space. We had a lovely week here and would thoroughly recommend it.

• "The internal accommodation itself was very comfortable and clean, had all the facilities you would expect and the hamper left for us was a nice touch."

  We were however disappointed to find that the Boathouse was in fact in the very narrow back yard of the owners house on a narrow plot in between other houses. This felt very hemmed in and meant you had to drive past the owners very large front window/patio doors when leaving and returning which wasn’t very private and quite disconcerting. We were also disappointed that the patio/parking area had builders equipment stacked and rubbish bins scattered around. All in all, this made it all feel very underwhelming and quite depressing which was a shame as the accommodation itself was comfortable and pleasant.

• "The boathouse is a beautifully designed house."

  The upstairs living area is really light and spacious with a vaulted ceiling and lots of Velux windows. The showers deliver loads of hot water. We had a really nice week. Plenty of space for parking, very friendly family who own the property (the Boathouse is in their back garden). Good location, Co-op is a few minutes walk away, centre of Tenby is a 10 min walk away. Highly recommended.

• "The Boathouse was a beautiful place to stay in."

  All the mod cons you could possibly need. The accommodation was spotless and Tanya and her family were so welcoming and couldn’t do enough for you! The location of the Boathouse is great too. The town and the beaches in town are only a short walk away. There are also lots of things for families to do less than a 30 minutes drive away. Tenby is a beautiful part of the country to visit and hopefully we’ll be back one day!

• "This is a great place for family with 2 children, if two couples, the two bedroom next to each other and have a door between them, you can hear each other talking, even with very low voice."
