Have been coming to Heritage Park for quite a few years now and have always stayed at 89 Cladbrine Lodge. We were absolutely gutted when the owners had put the lodge up for sale and there wasn’t any dates for us to book. I’m so glad we came across this little gem. Will definitely be back. The view from the Lodge is lovely and it’s so peaceful. The welcome pack was a nice touch too. Thank you for sharing your gorgeous Lodge with us x

  • "We were really delighted with the lodge."

After spending quite a lot of time online researching different cottages and holiday homes we chose this one based upon how light and modern the home looked. We were not disappointed at all. The owners have decorated and furnished the lodge beautifully and to a high spec. There was everything you would need and more in a holiday home (in fact it would be easy to live there). The lounge was bathed in sunshine every morning and it was a real pleasure to walk in there when we got up each day. Lovely decking outside and we were lucky with the weather and able to enjoy a coffee and the view out there. The beds were comfortable, the shower decent and the holiday park nice and quiet. Great location especially as we had our electric bikes with us so were able to cycle easily from the park to Tenby along the stunning coastal path.

Thank you so much for this feedback, we are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay and were able to use your electric bikes to explore the coastal path. We would be happy to welcome you back again in the future Property Owner

  • "No 44 exceeded our expectations which were high anyway."

It has the best location in the picturesque, quiet and well maintained park. The walk to Wiseman's bridge is delightful and we tried out both the pub and the walk through the tunnels to Saundersfoot. We specifically chose No 44 because of accessibility for my 80+ year old parents and they loved their stay. We contacted Steve ahead of our stay and were able to hire a wheelchair based on his recommendation. The welcome pack was really welcome (!) and the lodge clean and luxurious. A great few days and we'll be recommending No 44 as a great base location to explore the delights of Pembrokeshire.

  • "We have stayed in lots of lodges on this park over the last 5 years but this lodge rated 5 stars was actually not up to expectations."

On arrival when we opened the door the place smelt very unpleasant like stale cooking smells. The patio doors were covered in finger marks and the cooker had a Teflon sheet in the bottom of the oven which was covered in grease. The double bedroom the bedding smelt most unpleasant of other peoples BO. Luckily we took our own pillows because of the COVID situation but I wish we had also taken our own bedding. Considering that you have to vacate the lodge by 9 am and cannot enter until 5 pm because of the changeover cleaning it certainly was not up to expectations. And we would not return to this lodge again.

We were very disappointed to receive this feedback which significantly differs from the experiences of others who have stayed at this lodge. Had you flagged your concerns to Steve, the lodge manager, during your stay they could have been dealt with promptly . The time of arrival & departure were dictated by COVID requirements put in place to ensure the property was adequately cleaned are aired for your safety. Property Owner

About the location

STEPASIDE

Amroth 1 mile; Saundersfoot 4 miles; Tenby 6.5 miles; Narberth 7 miles; Pembroke 10.8 miles.

Once home to both coal and iron mines, Stepaside is now a holiday hamlet with a few houses pubs and restaurants. This valley was a hive of industrial activity from the 14th to the 19th century as it was an integral part of the Pembrokeshire coal field. It’s hard to imagine that now, as very little remains apart from the old ironworks at Stepaside and the railway tunnels between Wisemans Bridge and Saundersfoot. There were 12 collieries working in this area at its heyday. The whole of Pembrokeshire beckons with the harbour and seaside resorts of Amroth just 15 minutes’ walk away, Tenby and Saundersfoot close by, visit secluded sandy beaches, such as the acclaimed Barafundle Bay for a quiet relaxing day, or take in an invigorating walk along the Pembrokeshire Coast National Path. Enjoy a boat trip to Caldey Island and its monastery, or to Skomer, which is renowned for its puffins. For the most adventurous, extreme watersports await, whilst golfers can take the challenge of Tenby's famous links course. The nearby town of Narberth is a delight to discover with its many individual shops, including upmarket boutiques, specialist deli grocers and unique gift shops, and a wide choice of restaurants, bistros and pubs can be found in and around the town. Queen's Hall, Narberth's leading cultural and arts venue hosts a variety of concerts, plays and events, which can be enjoyed throughout the year. A perfect holiday base at any time of year.
