  • "Had a lovely stay at Lodge 53 Heritage Park, great accommodation, on a well kept site."

The lodge had everything you could possibly need for a relaxing holiday, from comfy beds, well equipped kitchen to the lovely views outside. Good communication from the Owner. We had no issues during our 10 day stay, just wish it had been longer. Cannot wait to return.

  • "The lodge is nicely furnished and equipped."

The Heritage Park site is quiet and very well looked after. No53 is in a good elevated position. However we did experience several issues during our stay. These were dealt with quickly by Kevin, the manager.

  • "Loved the lodge."

It was very hot which made it difficult to sleep. Maybe a fan or cooler bed covers. Found the key a bit fiddly.

Thanks for the feedback, good idea on the fans/bedding so will definitely look to get something sorted on that. Property Owner

  • "Extremely comfortable, super quiet area with beautiful beaches very close."

Perfect venue for a totally chillaxing holiday. Excellent lodge, with lovely views. The exterior photo of the Lodge used on the site no way matches it's lovely location which is certainly a 10 out of 10 for us. Well worth the six hour journey.

Thanks Cheryl for such a great review, sounds like I should get some better exterior photos done Property Owner

  • "A beautiful lodge in a beautiful location."

We couldn't fault the site - just what we were after, extremely quiet and tucked away from the hustle and bustle and with no noisy 'entertainment' and consequently rowdy disruptions on site - just quiet, respectful residents and the birds. Of course if you want a drink or shops, there is a lovely level walk down through valley to the Inn at Wisemans Bridge or around the corner into Saundersfoot. The accommodation was top quality and had all the little extras we needed from tea towels to cling film. Lovely holiday thank you and we will most definitely recommend.

Thank you Coreen for such a lovely review, & great to hear that you enjoyed your holiday. You were actually my very first guests at the lodge, I've spent the last couple of months kitting it out & getting it ready so its very encouraging (and a huge relief) to hear that all that effort has been appreciated, Thank you & I look forward to hopefully welcoming you back to Lodge 53 sometime in the future. About the location

KILGETTY

Cresswell Quay 2.4 miles; Saundersfoot 3 miles; Yerbeston 3.9 miles; Tenby 5 miles.

The rural village of Kilgetty is situated 2.4 miles from one of the most picturesque villages in Pembrokeshire, Cresswell Quay is best described as a delightful hamlet of scattered cottages at the edge of the tidal estuary. The central focal point is, of course, the old quay where boats can still moor, for the time the tide allows, and you may wish to pop into the Cresselly Arms for light refreshments. Just a short drive from the town of Tenby and offers a selection of shops and pubs, along with its own train station. Kilgetty is central to a number of attractions, with the coastal resorts of Saundersfoot and Tenby nearby, offering fabulous beaches, watersports and boat trips to Caldey Island, the home of a small gathering of monks and their monastery. Also nearby is the award winning Folly Farm, which makes for a great family day out and enables you to see a working farm at its best. Oakwood Theme Park is a 10 minute drive away and boasts the biggest wooden rollercoaster in Europe, whilst the spectacular Pembrokeshire coastline and the coastal National Park, a walker's paradise, are also within easy reach.
