  • "Absolutely beautiful accommodation, would highly recommend."

Comfortably held 4 adults and 2 children, the accommodation has everything you could possibly need and the owners have really put a lot of thought into the extras you might need whilst on holiday. The location is superb and a great spot for exploring more of South Wales, there is a beautiful woodland and coastal walk into Saundersfoot direct from the accommodation. Will definitely be back. Huge thanks to the owners for a wonderful stay.

Only a couple of small negatives. • Ants visiting from under the freezer • Limited cutlery and knives need sharpening • Short tumblers would have been nice (we like our whisky!)

Thanks very much for your lovely positive comments and that you enjoyed your stay. We would be delighted to welcome you back again soon. Sorry about the ants, a problem everywhere this time of year, we now put sticky traps under the base units. Best Wishes Steve & Angela Property Owner

  • "Couldn`t wish for a better lodge to stay in."

The whole family really enjoyed our stay everything was as advertised and if any problems (even minor a one as we had) were encountered were quickly attended to. Our only gripe was the fact that there were no facilities on the site close by, you had to travel a minimum approx 3 miles + shopping or other.

Thanks very much for your feedback. We are so pleased you enjoyed your holiday. In Kilgetty which is only 1.1 miles / 3 minute drive there is a large Co-Op, Chemist, Post Office & General Store, Butchers / Fishmongers, Fish & Chip Shop, two other Takeaways and two restaurants and two bars. Also at Wiseman's Bridge Beach only a 25 min walk or 2 min drive there is a bar/restaurant and shop. Best wishes Steve & Angela Property Owner

Real home from home. Just about everything you need to be found in the lodge, even dog biscuits and toys for the dogs. To say it’s a dog friendly lodge it’s spotlessly clean. Lovely walks nearby. A nice pub about a mile away if walking. Food excellent. Really nice atmosphere. Wish we’d booked for longer, it was so nice I’d go back in a heartbeat.

  • "What an absolutely beautiful lodge."

Could not have asked for more. The setting is perfect - quiet, pretty and close to the local towns and villages. Wiseman's Bridge is less than a mile walk away and both Saundersfoot and Tenby only a short drive. The lodge was spotless and beautifully decorated. The owners have thought of absolutely everything! Huge thank you for the hamper left for us as well - how generous. My partner completed Ironman Wales during our stay and the lodge was the perfect location and so comfortable to relax in afterwards - our only complaint is that it's already booked up for next year's Ironman!

There is ample spare bedding if needed I think the owners have thought of everything for your comfort. We noticed that the people in the other lodges were friendly always extending a greeting when anyone passed by. There is outdoor furniture and a patio that goes around half of the property that gets sun or shade all day for whoever wants either. Heritage park itself is quiet with lovely gardens, surrounded by mature trees and then of course there are also the ruins and steps leading up into the forestry. There is also a secluded flat path down to Wisemans Bridge with its beach and the pub, to the east is Amroth (visible from Wisemans Bridge) then Pendine and Laugharne, to the west is Saundersfoot and Tenby all a short journey by car. I would recommend this lodge to anyone, you will not be disappointed.

It was the cleanest place I have ever stayed in. The attention to detail made it a true home from home .... Only better. Fresh flowers, Champagne and truffles greeted us. The dogs had doggy treats, poo bags a squeaky toy put out for them. 4 adults and 2 dogs wanted long walks, plenty of fresh air and an odd lazy day. We weren't disappointed. We had 3 generations on the holiday and we all enjoyed outlrselves. It was a nice walk to the pub at Wisemans Bridge for a bite to eat and we walked to Saundersfoot too and ate at the mulberry, both dog friendly places. We were lucky with the weather for March as there was no rain or snow!!! I can imagine when the weather is warmer it would be really nice.
