  • "Spacious accommodation but … En-suite - shower we could not get it to run hot water - toilet seat ill-fitting - clear glass door to en-suite provides no privacy - we put news paper on the door - from the marks on the door, it looks as though we were not the only ones to do this!"

Marked duvet - noticeable when stripping the linen as per the instruction. If you expect your clients to strip the linen - the duvet etc needs to be spotless. Vacuum - filthy had not been emptied - tumble dryer filter full - possible fire hazard. - who ever cleans this property needs to be reminded to do this. Only one black bin bag provided - no recycling facilities. Would have been nice to have a welcome package as with other rentals we have stayed at especially the high cost of renting this property. A new roll of toilet paper (at least) for each toilet would have been a nice addition - mean spirited hosting. The step into the front of the property is too high and the tiles in the floor can be slippery therefore a hazard. I would think twice about renting this property as the cost is prohibitive - we booked in haste - I am sure there are better properties to rent at a lower cost.

Property very clean and comfortable . Definitely a home from home bungalow. A very close property to lovely locations like Amroth and Wiseman's Bridge. Our dog had plenty of amazing walks. We will be booking to come back next year . Thank you for making our time here great . John

It was ideal for us as our disabled dad was with us.Plenty of room for him to move around.Beds were really comfortable and views from decking were lovely. A couple of issues when we arrived with a water leak in en suite sink but issue was resolved straight away the following morning.Hoping to come back in the near future as ideal location for us.Thanks for a great stay

The property was well decorated and fitted out, with ample storage. As previous reviews mentioned, a folder of local info with recommendations on suppliers and services, ie; facilities at an adjacent caravan park were available to cottage users - restaurant and swimming pool, would be useful The property would benefit from a bbq on the patio deck and a few more kitchen utensils- wooden spoons, small oven pans, new scissors, potato peeler. Opaque glass on ensuite bathroom door and a few minor maintenance items. A good friendly and responsive owner . Overall a great place to stay for an extended family group.

In need of some TLC maintenance wise. Cooker not too good. Double bed bit rickety. Toilet roll holder in main bathroom loose so toilet roll keeps falling off. On suite bathroom shower pipe coming away from wall. WiFi only working on weekend days not working Monday to Friday. Outside lighting not working rear decking. Shame because location good and nice property.

  • "Nice big house situated on Oakland Caravan Park."

Really comfy beds and dog proof garden and decking. Close enough to Amroth, Wisemans Bridge and Saundersfoot to walk as long as you don't mind the hill back. Stunning beaches, great pubs and lots to do. I would have liked the accommodation to be more welcoming. Can I suggest taking down the laminated instructions/orders and putting them in a welcome folder along with some information on local services and things to do. No welcome pack (VERY unusual for a holiday let) - even just a pint of milk in the fridge would have been welcome after an 8 hour drive.

  • "Lovely accommodation that completely fulfilled our needs."

We know Pembrokeshire extremely well, but information on the locality and surrounding area could be very helpful for others. Also ensuring the cleaning equipment is ready to use would be good. (Great Dyson, but it had to be emptied before we could use it. Not a great problem, once we'd worked out how to open it!!!) All in all a really lovely property and location.

Secure garden for the dog, very comfortable for the occupants. This was our second year here and we would be happy to stay again. I had the owner’s phone number from a problem last year and texted her to say how much we enjoyed our stay.

  • "Not impressed that we weren't pre told about Internet engineer turning up."

We could not get the oven to work at all. The top was such a pain as kept going on and off.. Would benefit from better instructions or new cooker. Very basic kitchen utensils. Decking dangerous in places. Very bouncy where rotting. No lights outside would work. When bedding taken off at end of holiday stains over mattress. No information in property about anything that is going on locally or where places are. Or best places to See or Eat etc..

  • "Cottage was everything we needed for a great weeks holiday."

Very clean with all facilities needed. wonderful positioning for all main holiday resorts. Nice area to sit out and have breakfast with a view of the sea( in the distance) and frontage area gated off for dog to stretch his legs. Only point that I would make to forward to the owners is that the decking at the rear needs urgent repairs as the bearer to part of the decking is rotted and causing the decking to give way. Otherwise a lovely cottage.

The jacuzzi did not work and the bath was disconnected due to a huge leak. No apologies were received for our disappointment and inconvenience of not having a bath as advertised. Basically equipped in the kitchen with rusty trays for the oven. The hobb was very difficult to operate as most previous occupiers have reported in visitors’ book. No info at cottage to tell us where local amenities are such as supermarket drs pharmacy vets etc unlike every other cottage we have stayed in.

It's in a quiet location, just minutes away from the fabulous unspoiled beaches of Amroth and Saundersfoot which ideal ! We were blessed with good weather and the decking area was great for catching the afternoon sun. The very welcoming, modern Charlie's Bar, is just a 2 minute stroll across the road, serving good food and with a variety of beers & lagers on tap. It's an ideal place to make new friends and well behaved dogs are welcome. Fabulous holiday for us and our four legged family member.

It smelt amazingly. This property is an easy walk alone the coastal path to 2 beaches and pubs. The Kitchen was well equipped although the knives were very blunt and there was no tin opener, the hob and grill seemed tricky to get on full power and took an age to fry bacon, but I’m used to the instant heat of a gas hob so could be me. We would definitely stay here again.

The boiler flue is not correct and needs looking at, it’s dropping acid condensate on ground out side , which I had to keep my dog away from ( I’m a gas safe registered engineer by trade ) . We wanted to book next year but adding £500 (about 45% more than this year ) is really naughty and greedy . A slight increase would have secured another booking from us . Your website is good and we will probly book thru Sykes again . Steve
