• "Unpleasant smell in ensuite, which moved to bathroom - drains?"

  Hairs and fluff on pbathroom floor. Grill pan and oven greasy tried to clean with sponge scourer and washing up liquid, not enough! Black mark on duvet cover. It is a shame because initial view was it was lovely, great location though. Beds were comfy. Views great. Great location

  Apartment was lovely we would stay again , the only fault was a large stain on duvet cover , which looked like a urine stain , didn't noticed it till two days later when making bed , obviously I turned duvet over , , apart from that tv reception was a bit hit and miss , but we had a lovely stay ,

  Update, thanks once again for your comments, we have now changed our cleaning company. We are really sorry to hear about the stain. We take our cleanliness very seriously and have checked with the cleaning company who have said that this was an oversight and in their opinion was most likely caused by a cosmetic based product. With regard to the TV, the signal comes via a communal dish and the signal can be impacted by bad weather. Property Owner

• "A lovely apartment, 10 minutes walk into Tenby town centre."

  The facilities in the apartment were excellent, everything was provided to ensure a comfortable stay. The beds were comfortable as were the 2 sofas and the kitchen was finished to a high standard. Having a dedicated parking space was also a real plus. Other reviews have mentioned the hill when walking back from town.This was not a problem for us but could be for somebody with walking difficulties. The best thing we can say about this apartment is that we wouldn't hesitate to book it again if we return to Tenby.

• "A fantastic apartment with everything you need for a family holiday."

  Great location, 10-15 min walk into Tenby downhill. Pool and sauna available through booking system. Only downside and not owners fault, 30 min slots between 9-5 with no changing room and very strict one family at a time, still using COVID guidelines which spoiled use. Half way through week we gave up. Comfy beds, kitchen has everything you need to cook and bake all you'd like. Lots of thought has gone into the apartment from the owners, lovely welcome bits in the kitchen and the pillow spray in the rooms was a nice addition. we'd happily book again and equally recommend to friends and family. Courtesy call/message to check all was ok after a day or two. Thank you for a lovely home from home.

• "We have just returned from a lovely stay at Cambrie."

  The apartment is in a great location. Just a short walk into Tenby. It was very clean and spacious with a beautiful view of Tenby and beyond , looking towards Caldey Island. The small balcony was put to good use each morning for breakfast. The apartment did have everything you could possibly need. A very well equipped kitchen, comfy living / dining area.. ( with lovely views) and extremely comfortable beds! And the black out blinds made for a great nights sleep! There really wasn’t much not to like. We made use of the pool a couple of times. Would have better if the pool was available after 5pm but that time was available for apartment owners only.. which was only brought to our attention on arrival in the guide book. Other than that we could not fault. Would definitely recommend and return! ☺️

• "We loved our stay at Cambrie."

  The apartment was thoughtfully appointed with everything we could possibly need. Decor was of a high standard and all appliances were good quality and in full working order. The beds were comfortable and it was great to have the use of two very nice bathrooms. The situation was perfect with gorgeous views from the balcony and an easy stroll into the centre of Tenby. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Cambrie and would certainly stay again if we came back to Tenby.

• "Had a fabulous time in Tenby, staying in Cambrie was lovely, it was spacious, clean and very comfortable, great views and only a 10 min walk to the centre of town."

• "We had an amazing stay, the apartment well comfortable and well equipped."

  The apartment was generally clean but the bathroom extractors and windows could have been cleaner. We loved the view of Tenby from the balcony, we caught some gorgeous sunrises in the morning. The icing on the cake for us was having sole use of the pool, we swam every day! The pool area was fantastic, we’d book again just for this. The only thing about the stay that was slightly negative for us were the steep steps leading up to the apartment entrance, you really had to watch your footing, I imagine a fall would result in a really bad injury. That being said, we wouldn’t hesitate in coming back, I’m already trying to work out some dates for another break here.

• "There needs to be a mention off the steepness of the car park/entrance in the description of the property as anyone that is not fully fit will struggle,also extractor fans in both on suite and bathroom require a good clean to make them work properly."

  The apartment was clean and very comfortable. We had everything we needed. We enjoyed using the swimming pool and liked the arrangements for using it. It was lovely to have the pool to ourselves. If we return to Tenby we will definitely stay here again and will recommend to friends and family.

  Be aware that it is accessed from the main road by a steep incline followed by the outdoor steps and indoor stairs to negotiate. We left fitter than we when we arrived!

  This apartment has all your needs to relax and take in the lovely view of the sea and beaches of Tenby. After a busy day exploring the surrounding area of interest, you could return back to the apartment and relax in the comfort of this home from home. • "What a wonderful apartment, had literally everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and relaxing."

  Super clean, tastefully furnished and decorated. It was a 10 to 15 minute walk into town, which I enjoyed. Tenby itself has so many independent shops and cafes / restaurants and also a well stocked Sainsburys. We didn’t use the pool, just didn’t get round to it, with everything we needed on the doorstep, or in the apartment, and easy access to fab beaches and the coastal path, we had plenty to do and barely needed the car! We used public transport to get us to our coastal walk starting points, which apart from Sunday, seemed a good service. Lovely relaxing stay here, thank you.

• "The owners couldn't help us enough, the flat is beautiful, the kitchen is really well stocked for cooking and eating, the settees are comfortable with a good size table to eat at."

  The view is stunning and the outside table was used frequently for a morning drink. The bedrooms are again beautiful, the double with the en-suite, wardrobe and drawers and the smaller room with 2 single beds but still plenty of room and storage. The main bathroom had a low bath which was really helpful to get in and out of the shower. I cannot eulogise enough about how at home we felt and how beautiful it was. Will recommend and return.

• "Wonderful accommodation, very clean with everything provided for an enjoyable stay."

  The beds were probably the comfiest we have ever slept in! The owners were lovely and checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. Tenby is a 15 minute walk away (uphill on the way back but not too difficult) and has plenty of restaurants and shops. The harbor area is very picturesque, and the beaches are fabulous. We would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment, it had all the amenities needed as well as being very homely and comfortable.

  Parking is slightly tricky with a large car as you cannot see the edge of the steps. We had glorious weather all week which meant we were out walking each day and relaxing in the property at night. It had everything we needed plus central heating which we rarely used. It was clean and comfortable and a pleasant walk into Tenby for our evening meal.

• "The property was more than we expected beautifully decorated and having someone come in every week to change bedding and towels was great,the pool was well kept and extremely clean loved it,the beds were very comfortable and extra pillows there if required,the kitchen had everything you would need and more,tea,coffee and milk sachets supplied as well as dishwasher and washing machine tablets,tea towels etc etc couldn't have asked for more,received a couple of calls from the owners enquiring if all was well with the apartment and in all a very comfortable and enjoyable stay."

  The flat is bright and spacious. With an elevated view of the sea we were lucky enough to enjoy beautiful sunsets and sunrises. The walk up from town is no big deal,and well worth it to stay somewhere so quiet. Plus ,of course, car parking.

• "We have stayed in quite a few holiday rentals and we think Cambrie is the best one so far."

  It is extremely comfortable, has fantastic views and it is only ten minutes walk from Tenby town. Also when we contacted the owners they were friendly and helpful. The swimming pool was a bonus (a pleasant man showed us round after he saw us looking through the windows, telling us how to book in etc). Could do with a few more Gin glasses!

• "A really relaxing stay and Tenby is lovely."

  Flat was great, a little dusty in places, top of the wardrobes hadn't been cleaned in a while by the look of things. Managed to catch my car on the last step as we pulled out of bay 25! Damaged my bodywork and tore out my rear tire - expensive! Might be worth some hazard paint on the step as it is a tight turn in a large car, to prevent anyone else suffering the same fate. Shame the gym didn't open despite the lifting of restrictions. I was told this was due to lack of staff on site and problems keeping it clean. What was the regime pre covid? Overall a great experience.

• "I booked this before the first lockdown in 2020 and had to postpone until 2021."

  I was attracted to the gym/swimming facilities but these were advertised as still unavailable at the time of our visit (June '21) When we arrived we could see people obviously enjoying those facilities but we had not brought appropriate kit and so missed out. Would have been nice to have had an updated state of play before we arrived. The apartment itself was lovely: comfortable and clean.

• "Ideal location for access to Tenby with beaches and town all within walking distance."

  The coastal paths are breathtaking and we also can recommend Manorbier and Stackpole Quay for walks too. the short boat trip to Caldey island is recommended. We enjoyed lovely meals at Qube and Hope & Anchor, just as outdoor dining was permitted. We had a fantastic week and blessed with gorgeous weather. Thank you!

• "The apartment had everything you needed, great location & views, but the cleaning of the apartment was below what we expected especially with the COVID pandemic, bedroom floor was dirty and thick dust under the beds, thick dust in the vents in the en-suite."

  Whoever cleans this apartment needs to pay attention and clean this to a higher standard especially with what is happening with the country.

• "We really enjoyed our stay at Cambrie."

  We stayed for a long weekend in December with our two children and had a very comfortable and very enjoyable time. The flat was spotless and had everything we needed. It was clear that measures were being taken to help keep the flat and communal areas (pool, hallway, staircase) covid-free. The pool facility was open and easily booked (one household at a time, one hour slot) which the kids really loved. It was an easy walk into the centre of Tenby but it was uphill on the way back (a good way to work off the fish and chips!). There’s a beautiful view in the living room. We would definitely rebook and recommend!

• "The toaster was hidden in a cupboard behind a pail but a coffee machine was in full view?"

  ? Spent a lot of time looking for the toaster!! The en suite is too small - you feel as if you are drowning under the waterfall shower head. Lovely towels. Number 25 has no direct access to the pool. You have to exit the block and then go into the main building.

  Thank you for your review. We have moved the toaster so it's in view. The en suite size although not large is standard throughout the development. There is also a shower handset that can be used in any direction as opposed to the overhead rose which is straight down and fixed. We have amended the property description to reflect that the pool, sauna and gym is located in the Manor House which is around 50 yards away from Caldey House.
