"A lovely, relaxing week in this beautiful part of Wales."
The cottage is quite remote so very peaceful. The owners are on hand though if needed. Plenty of room for two of us and our two dogs with a large, enclosed garden and had the weather been better we’d have sat out on in the garden more. The bed was very comfy and a good power shower, plenty of kitchen equipment and a welcome basket provided,
Lots of beaches nearby which are dog friendly and plenty of cafes for coffee and cake.
All in all a lovely week away.

"Really enjoyed our stay it was so peaceful."
Just what you need for a stressless break. Clean and comfortable. Lovely garden for our dog. Not far to beaches and small towns. We have an old dog so she found it hard on the wooden floors and a few mats would have made it easier for her. But on the whole would love to go again .

"Our second stay at this lovely cottage."
Warm cosy and comfortable. It is very well equipped.
The welcome box of goodies was much appreciated.
The location is fantastic, very quiet but only ten minutes drive to Newport Sands. A great place to relax.
The dogs loved the large enclosed garden.
I would highly recommend staying here and would happily go back for a third stay.

"We very much enjoyed our stay at Y Cartws, we haven’t stayed in a cottage with our dog and eleven year old before but we were looking for somewhere peaceful and Y Cartws did fit the bill."
We were only really aware we had neighbours when we saw their van. We had a couple of wet days away and I think the sign of a good holiday location is being able to sit comfortably in your accommodation without climbing the walls. Again boxes ticked!
The area itself was lovely, plenty of dog friendly places nearby. You do need to be prepared to drive, and some of the roads were single tracks and very hilly which we were not used to.
We would definitely return. Thank you for having us!

"Just back from a lovely stay in Y Cartws in Pembrokshire."
Y Cartws is a lovely little property that surprises you when to go in. Its a lot bigger than first thought and pleasingly so.
The place was spotless and a credit to the owners. Everything was there that we needed, I cannot even put a suggestion in for improvement.
The garden was ideal for our dog and it was well teased by the resident moggies.
The location was ideal too. A great base to explore Pembrokeshire. Everywhere was really dog friendly. Bar Tenby. Most beaches allow dogs or have a section dogs can go between 1 May and 31st Sept ( Newport North is great with a nice cafe) Poppit Beach near Cardigan is another gorgeous beach and if you want to venture more. Marloes sands and Whites sands bay are beautiful.
Lots of walking done. Happy people and a happy pooch at the end of the week.
We neve really saw you but ...
Thank you Nester, Andrew and Anona

"This cottage made our getaway."
It was beautiful, airy and clean and wow what a view. It was well equipped, we didn't need half of what we brought with because it was all there. Our child and dog enjoyed the enclosed garden.
I for one really appreciated the comfortable bed and crisp linen.

Otherwise it was fine
We’re so glad you enjoyed your stay and we have had many families of 4 stay over the past 12 years with no comments regarding the size of the dining table . Luckily there were only 2 of you !
We will as always take your comment on board .

Milk and cake upon arrival were very nice. Owners were extremely hospitable and we were made to feel very welcome. Although the other cottages were also occupied there was plenty of privacy and you didn't really see anyone else. Each cottage had a private area to sit out and dogs were welcome. Would go back again.
