  • "The cottage was a last minute booking when our initial booking fell through and wow what a treat!"

It was a real home away from home. Everything we could ever need and the kitchen was stocked so well. There was a lovely welcome package too. The children were beyond excited about the space invaders game in the hall. I have literally no negatives but it would be good to have a dustbin and brush available to clear up after the kids. Wendy was so welcoming and made it clear she was on hand if we needed anything. I would highly recommend this cottage xxx

Rural location was fab, and 20 mins from many good locations. Owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, giving us lots of tips and fantastic whenever we needed something (some weight scales for making cakes!).

  • "We stayed at Swallows Retreat for a week."

Upon arrival, we were greeted and shown around by the owner. The place is cozy and clean. It is an old cottage and it gives the place a special charm. There were milk and Welsh cakes in the fridge complimentary. Overall we felt welcome there. And I want to thank the owner for making us feel that way.
