The property

Newport 1.1 miles.

Ceunant is a traditional detached home on the outskirts of Newport in Pembrokeshire.

It is situated on a bridleway at a distance of approximately 150 yards from a small country road.  There are no near neighbours so an atmosphere of peace and tranquillity is assured, even at the height of summer.

The site is about half way up Carn Ingli, the mountain behind Newport, and so the views are particularly beautiful.  That goes not only for the landscape but also for the skies, the sunsets and the starry nights.

Ideal for families, this home is pet-friendly and features a large, enclosed garden with a summerhouse and a woodburning stove with stunning views of the countryside and coastline.

Drive down the country lane and park your car beside the gate.

Be sure to close the gate behind you to prevent any livestock from wandering in!

The garden is spacious and vibrant, surrounded by lush greenery that enhances its natural beauty.

To approach this charming home from home walk down the flight of eight steps from the lane, not particularly steep, using the handrail on the left if necessary.

The living room, complete with a woodburning stove, is perfect for cosying up in the evenings and here, you can enjoy a view of the sea or unwind by turning on the TV.

There is a well equipped kitchen and dining room.

Upstairs the two bedrooms are of roughly equal size and overlook either the coast or the mountainside.

Outside, the large garden provides plenty of space for dogs to enjoy the fresh air and the summerhouse is an ideal spot to relax with a book.

The property's views are sure to inspire you to explore the surrounding area and there are a number of fine walks from the cottage.

Pack the car and visit the coast with a trip to Aberfforest, Cwm-Yr-Eglwys or Pwll Gwaelod beaches on the popular Pembrokeshire Coast Path.

The more adventurous members of the group will wish to take advantage of exploring on foot the Preseili Hills with Carningli on your door-step.

Nearby Newport is always popular with its own golden sands and popular eateries such as the Golden Lion or the Castle Inn after a day of exploration.

A trip to Fishguard to learn about the Last Invasion of Mainland Britain of 1797 will satisfy history buffs whilst a trip further west to St David's will showcase its extraordinary Cathedral.

Soak in the breathtaking sights of Newport from Ceunant, a perfect retreat for relaxation and exploration.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £150.
