  • "The cottage was in a great location."

Was a bit cramped and kept banging our heads on the sloped ceiling. There was no broom to keep the place tidy and we had to buy one. Cleanliness of the property was poor such as dirty stained cups and toilet wasn't clean and toilet brush dirty and covered in hair. Bed was comfortable but the sheets didn't fit properly and kept sliding of the corners. The steps outside were very slippery when it rained. There was a big plant that we had to move aside to get past. The big armchairs were old, worn and not comfortable and and we could not cuddle up as a couple. It was confusing as to where the rubbish was disposed of and we had to take to a bin elsewhere.

  • "Absolutely great little place in a nice quiet spot."

The owner's son was on hand and very helpful and accommodating. The property is very clean and tidy and we loved it. Facilities are good with a L'Or Coffee pod machine, microwave and a duo of hot plates for heating up saucepans. The toilet/bathroom is a wet room which is really good . Upstairs is the bedroom with a comfy bed. The stairs up are more of a ladder than true stairs which can cause an issue for anyone with mobility issues so bear this in mind. My only issue is that it would be good to have non slip pads on the stairs as I did have a small slip on one occasion resulting in a bruise. We saw rabbits and a fox in the area and there are wild ponies around too so lots of wildlife. Overall a lovely apartment in a gorgeous part of the world. Recommended. Ade & Kate.

Hello, sorry we were still away and couldn't meet you, so glad to hear my son was helpful. On the subject of the stairs, our listing does explain the unusual configuration of the staircase to forewarn anyone who may find them difficult - with the limited space in the Studio this type of staircase - (approved by Buildings Regulations) was the only way to provide access to the upper level. We very much appreciate your warning that you found them slippery, sorry to hear about your slipping (hope there's no lasting damage) and will address this as soon as possible. The footstep is actually recessed cork, but it's obviously not doing the job as well as we hoped . Thank you to both for your nice comments, maybe we will see you again one day, we will be around if so - it rained nearly every day for 3 weeks in France and I'm going to be here in future, holidaying from home! The stairs have now been treated with a non slip compound. Property Owner

  • "Very highly recommended."

The studio was perfect for the 2 of us and our 2 dogs. On arrival we were met with a clean, warm and modern studio appartment. Milk in the fridge and a coffee machine was just what we wanted after a 6 hour drive. Freshly made beds and plenty of towels in the wet room shower. Our hosts were extremely friendly and helpfull. Found lots of things to see and do in the area. Great for walking and boating.

  • "The property was very well maintained and if we had any issues the owners were available to sort any problem out."

It was a fantastic experience to have lambs bleating in the hedge outside the bedroom window in the morning. Highly recommended. We would consider going again.
