  • "This was our third visit to the cottage and like the other times we found it immaculately presented."

Everything was there that was required. Will certainly recommend to others and hopefully we will be back soon.

  • "Beautiful property in a lovely location."

Lots to see and do. Myself personally would have liked a walk in shower. But that's me being picky.

  • "We've stayed here before and found the house to be perfect for our needs."

It's ideally placed for touring around the North East of Scotland and has every thing you could want to have a great holiday. If I could change one thing it would be the shower but that's only because we have a power shower st home and are used to the fabulous pressure it gives. That said the one in the property is adequate and if you take your time it does the job.

Happy to have you back. Property Owner

  • "We had a fantastic time in a beautifully decorated home."

It’s a lovely village folk are so friendly only drawback for me was it wasn’t wheelchair friendly my buggy has small wheels and kerbs weren’t low enough. My hubby really enjoyed going for walks round the town he always got someone to talk to. I wanted to stay longer in the cottage as it was so good for me as I don’t do stairs and have a stairlift at home. Thank you Doris for your emails much appreciated x

Glad to read you enjoyed your stay. Maybe you'll be back to see the highland cow again. Take care. Property Owner

  • "Highly recommended!"

Comfortable, very warm and cosy, clean with everything you need and more. Generous welcome pack and lovely little personal touches throughout the house, eg, tissues and toiletries in each bedroom, fresh flowers in the hearth, little stickers over each plug which was really useful and thoughtful. Lovely gardens and there was even a motion sensor outside light in the drive for when we came back late one night. The owners are easily contactable and very accommodating. This is a very tidy, well maintained, clean property. Also an excellent base to explore Aberdeen, Ballater, Balmoral and even Inverness. Thank you to the owners. X

  • "Perfect spot for touring the north east, had everything you need to have a great time."

The facilities in the kitchen were really good, dishwasher, microwave and every kind of utensil many of which we made use of. The locals were really friendly exchanging pleasantries whenever you passed them and the two local eateries are a must. We found the Chinese takeaway to be one of the best we've ever tried and then Indian cuisine at the Learney Arms was exceptional. It all made for a fabulous break.

Thank you, great that you enjoyed your stay. Maybe see you again. Property Owner
