  • "We have never stayed anywhere where you dont even get a few teabags or sugar so that was a shock!"

The general cleanliness was disappointing as I spotted stains on all furniture and furnishings as soon as we got there which made me feel uncomfortable and there were cobwebs, dead flies and woodlouse scattered about. The shower squigie broke (v.rusty) in my husbands hand on our second from last day. The rugs need non slip backing. It is a lovely house but the furniture is not practical and needs a deep clean. Despite sounding so negative we had a nice holiday and it's a lovely property and fairly quiet and excellent location, a fab shower but it just needs a deep clean.

Thank you for your feedback, we are sorry you found some issues with cleanliness which we have addressed. In the last year we have undertaken significant refurbishment at the house and aim to offer a high standard of presentation. However, after a very busy season of welcoming lots of families, there have been some marks to the furniture and there has just not been the opportunity to get these sorted so we do apologise for this. We now have additional for the soft furnishings. We were not aware the squeegee was broken - it has now been replaced. We do have slip backing on most of the rugs but will have a look at this again. Guidance is for us to provide wine and biscuits for guests on arrival. We are pleased you still enjoyed yourself and do hope to welcome you back in the future. Property Owner

  • "Very nice house which has been well thought out."

Lots of space. We had the the downstairs bedroom with a great ensuite.Beds were very comfy. Ideal open plan kitchen/dining area. The kitchen was very well equipt. The gardens both front and back were secure for the dogs. Parking was good and we were able to fit 2 big cars in the parking area. Lovely house and wouldn't hesitate to recommend or stay again.

  • "Absolutely loved our stay in Pink cottage."

It certainly has the wow factor. We loved the open plan, airy feel of the living area and the colours of the furnishings. Everything we would need on a holiday, and more, was provided. The showers fab, the bed comfy, big settee (a must for us loungers) The front garden leading to the house was lovely, brushing against the lavender special. We would definitely recommend this property to friends and family.

  • "Lovely cottage."

Beautifully decorated and clean. Everything we needed and more. Very comfortable. Would highly recommend . Only a couple of small issues. It’s much further from the beach that I thought and the rugs nearly caused a few accidents. Didn’t spoil our holiday in any way.

  • "Very happy with our stay, thank you!"

It was close to the sea, shops and pub - what more could you want?! The cottage was modern and beautifully laid out with lots of equipment in the kitchen, laundry and games in the living room. We found it to be a warm house, so a fan might have been welcome at times, but that could just be my age! The accessibility for a less able grandparent was great - it would have been nice to have a higher seated armchair but we managed by using one of the lovely big cushions as a booster seat! Lovely garden and outdoor seating, the only slight note is the lavender which has taken over the front path a bit - it smells gorgeous when u push through it, but it was wet when we arrived so we got damp legs! Maybe it could just be tied back a little? Just to mention, the door on the double bedroom upstairs does not seem to click shut when closed. I also left a note about one of the mugs, which has an invisible crack! We found it to be very comfortable and ideal for a family get together, many thanks for having us and the budgies!

  • "We had a wonderful time - Thank you."

Lovely house with excellent facilities and most items that we could need. Excellent appliances and equipment etc. Upstairs bathroom shower controls were very stiff - needed 2 hands and a towel to turn them on and off. Only a couple of suggestions - some cushions for the outdoor chairs would be good - otherwise we were tempted to use the ones on the sofa. Also - just a minor thing - but a problem for a 5ft 2" person!! ........................Please lengthen the cord on the light in the upstairs bathroom - It would also be a major problem for children. Thanks.

Excellent accomodation, very comfortable and well equipped, one minor point, although the garden was fenced some areas weren't secure enough for our dog, he can jump a 4 ft fence
