"Firstly the shower was unusable because the heat varied wildly."
The plumber who was called said it was due to the water supply. The bathroom was too small for use. There was never enough hot water. All the cupboards & shelves were full of unnecessary 'stuff'. The pots & utensils were all grubby & needed washing before use. There was no visitors book or water filter as mentioned.

"The cottage was well presented inside , but double bed was uncomfortable, mattress hungover bed felt old and gave us bad backs, the nest heating dials set to 20 degrees couldn't turn down & it was 24 degrees outside so we were mega hot, the shower was going boiling hot every 2 seconds & burning us so reported it & plumber said it needed a new thermostat so couldn't use it, so no showers for 2 days , went home early to wash & needed a good night's sleep, noone has called us to Apoligies."
(Also weeds in front garden are bad & I hurt my leg on one coming in the front door) shame as it could be a nice cottage .

"Cozy cottage perfect for couples for a short stay."
Clean and within easy distance of main high street. Bathroom extremely small which was a struggle for my husband who is tall. Would definitely visit again for a long weekend.

"So , lovely small cottage , very clean, well equipt ."
Ideal for short stay, shower small for tall men ! Gubbins under tv , various bits could be tidied up . Lovely little shared courtyard , needed tiding , weeding would make it much more inviting for alfresco dining . The childrens bunk beds, although nicely finished are badly designed , unsafe for young children .

"Mariners Cottage was a wonderful holiday home, beautifully furnished, stylish and extremely comfortable."
Enjoyed using the courtyard for outside eating (and meeting the lovely neighbours!). One of the best cottages ever stayed in. Only 5 minutes from the shore, so easy to enjoy 'living' in Aldeburgh and also to walk along the coast in both directions. And a great base for exploring further afield. Loved it! Highly recommended.

About the location
ALDEBURGH
Thorpeness 2.1 miles; Saxmundham 7.2 miles.
The popular, vibrant seaside town of Aldeburgh is famous for its culture, traditional feel and one of the best fish and chip shops in the country! Aldeburgh and Snape Maltings are home to one of the world’s greatest music festivals and has been named as one of the top 50 places to live in Britain. Crag Path runs along the seafront dividing the beautiful pebbly beach from the unspoilt pastel-coloured seafront properties and the town. The beach is a popular place for groups and couples to enjoy the wonderful fish and chips throughout the summer months. The town is steeped in history and has become a wonderful town for shopping with a good mixture of independent and chain stores to enjoy. The town also offers a good selection of pubs and restaurants or why not buy some freshly caught fish from the huts on the seafront and cook up your own feast at home. For those wishing for a more action-packed holiday there is excellent walking, cycling, sailing and golf at Aldeburgh. Growing in popularity you will want to return to Aldeburgh again and again!
