  • "We LOVE this property."

It’s the second time we have stayed here. Our girls love it too. It is so peaceful and restful to look out and see and hear the sea. The beds are comfortable and it’s beautifully painted and furnished. Only negative is parking as Aldeburgh can get really busy, especially when the weather is good - oh and the noisy seagulls

  • "Runton is a fabulous property, in the perfect beach-side location, which makes for a comfortable and relaxing stay."

From the large soft towels to the The White Company toiletries, from the well equipped kitchen to the stunning upstairs bathroom, complete with underfloor heating, we loved the place and can’t wait to return. We’ve stayed in several Aldeburgh properties over the last few years, but this has been our favourite. Just a couple of very minor points, none of the bedrooms had a chair or suitcase stand to put anything on, mirrors were too high for me at 5ft 5, and the hot water went off before we left on the last day, leaving one member of the group unwashed (!) and it more difficult to wash-up and clean before we vacated. However, we happily recommend Runton.

  • "It’s a beautiful apartment with extremely comfortable beds and wonderful sea views."

But: The lock on the door jammed with us all in it on arrival.Very alarming, but we had someone with us with great was able to open the door and temporarily fix the lock but it needs a new one. Plus the dishwasher didn’t work. The other thing for me as a small person I couldn’t see in the mirrors, or reach shelves in the Kitchen a little pair of steps might help. .
