  • "Lovely apartment overlooking the gorgeous beach with a balcony."

This is our 3rd stay and have booked for next year. Just a few suggestions as nothing has changed since our first visit.. the 2 bucket chairs could do with reupholstering..they are very threadbare..and the doors on the balcony are very stiff ..especially the left door. The small bedroom door needs the catch fixing so that the door can be shut and settings of the boiler need adjusting so that there is no boiler noise at night..oh the window in the small bedroom cannot be opened! Apart from that the place is lovely ..just want it to remain that way..

Clean and well equipped. Comfortable beds and super clean bathrooms. Highlight is the incredible lounge with balcony overlooking beach and sea. We loved it!

  • "Superb. Thanks for the wine."

We walked into a cosy room on a windy afternoon so really appreciative Thankyou for putting the heating on. For having the fridge on. For leaving ice in a bag in the freezer for the first g&t. For the tea towels and washing tabs. Those things you might forget. So so good. Heating easy to control. My mother has limited mobility so sitting in a warm room and looking your over the sea is excellent. Honestly a great property. So quiet. Not sure if you would hear those upstairs or downstairs if they were in? Your photos were realistic and perhaps fo not do it justice. Really small points just for owners. The twin room door doesn’t stay shut which would be good to prevent food smells. Maybe a small chest of drawers in wardrobe in 2nd double room. And a set of tea cups and saucers. Just mentioning it. But I LOVED the property and we had a great stay

Great. Glad you enjoyed the flat. I have taken note of your feedback Property Owner

  • "Our second time at this fabulous property."

Really impressed that the glazing in the door to the ensuite is now opaque. Only one minor issue - that the basin plug in the ensuite doesn't stay locked down. Other than that, everything was perfect. We really like the original artwork too.

  • "Overall, great stay."

Amazing location, lovely property, great facilities and amenities (dishwasher, plenty of cutlery and crockery etc). Issues to potentially fix: The single bed mattresses and pillows were extremely uncomfortable, and coupled with the boiler in the room, those of us staying in that room had very poor sleep quality. Boiler noise may be inevitable, but the mattresses and pillows could definitely do with replacing. One of the bedrooms was quite dusty, and had gym shorts in the wardrobe from a previous tenant. So cleaning could be improved. The bathroom door to the ensuite is see-through, which is a very odd choice! Perhaps this could be filmed over, or completely replaced. The intercom to get into the flat didn't work so we had to call each other whenever someone was at the door, and go downstairs to open the door. The stairwell smelled unfresh/of stale cooking and could do with airing and perhaps an airfreshener.

  • "We were informed 2 days before rental that there would be scaffolding on the house."

While I understand things happen, no one worked on the house in the 2 weeks we were there and the sea view from the master bed was completely blocked. They offered a 10% discount which is a joke considering the cost of the rental. The lack of clothes washing provision was an issue and should be considered, especially when there are 2 redundant balconies. The living room was the saving Grace with lovely views.

  • "We had the best time, we love staying at Sea Tower and plan to return; it has become our special place."

The location and panorama are fabulous and we love the wall art! It is a comfortable flat and the log burner is a real bonus. Highly recommend! I would be happy to have the above comment published as it is a great property but - for the property owner - there are a few minor things that need attention. I would share these directly with the owner if I had the contact details: Under cupboard light gone just above fridge Fan in ensuite makes a weird noise Shower in ensuite was beyond me to comprehend The entrance to the property really does need a light - its hard to see in that alleyway and there are steep steps. Finally on this occasion, the view from the main bedroom was considerably spoiled by the scaffolding - I have taken a photo which I am happy to share. There weren't just poles but also yellow gates which obscured the view entirely.

Thank you for your feedback it is very helpful and we have noted the minor repairs to be done. We will endeavour to put a light in the porch but this is a shared area and needs agreement from all flat owners. Many apologies for the scaffolding. Unfortunately this is urgent repair work being carried out to the flat above and beyond our control but we are assured this will be finished in January 2024. Property Owner

  • "Our first visit to this fabulous apartment - already booked again for next year."

Very quiet location. The kitchen had everything we needed to self-cater, and was nice and big for four people, with more than enough crockery and glassware. Lovely comfy sofas - love the light fitting in the living room. My only negative comment is that the door for the ensuite bathroom has clear glass panels rather than frosted glass, so not very private. Just seems a bit odd to me. I'd recommend the Lighthouse Restaurant, excellent service and lovely food and wine.

  • "Love the location, especially the view from the balcony no matter the weather."

We enjoyed 4 traditional bright and sunny English Autumnal days followed by 2 watching storm Ciaran rage in the North Sea. One minor point both plugs in the sinks in the bathroom and en suite will not hold water and need attention.o

  • "This was our 4th stay at Sea Tower, and although we might have to miss next year due to other commitments, we intend on returning soon."

We love this apartment! We always find it so fresh and tidy. Some small niggles (and we mean small) - the cooker hob is somewhat temperamental at times but we got round that by using the back left hob most of the time. The radio in the main bedroom (still) doesn't work - we put a new battery in the remote last year to no avail and reported it. Lastly, thank you. It really is our 'happy place' and our 4 year old grandson thinks it belongs to Granny Bee! I wish!

  • "We loved Sea Tower and plan to return."

Just a few gripes: It was virtually impossible to turn on the heating on arrival and it was a freezing cold day - after I called the issue was immediately addressed; your lovely maintenance guy came and sorted it out, thank you. He also managed to open the back balcony door which I think had swollen and was very hard to shift, ditto the front balcony doors which were just very stiff. I was noble despite having done all the booking and went for the small bedroom. There were 3 of us. This room was very spartan - no wardrobe and it would be relatively easy to put a hook on the inside of the door. There is really only room for one bed tbh; I kept banging my legs on the bed corners. You cannot get to the curtain because of the bed and opening and closing the curtain caused the hooks to come free which I was unable to address. This room looked out onto an office so it was quite important to be able to close them for privacy. Equally the other window curtain hangs directly above the tiny shelf table which would knock off a bedside drink. The 2nd bedroom had a half wardrobe but no drawers and I'm not sure that there were any bedside tables. The main bedroom was fantastic so we'll take it in turns to have that one in the future! Just a little thought re bedroom furniture would make this place fabulous. I almost got marooned in the bath which is lovely but impractical if you've just had a new knee! Despite these niggles we loved staying at Sea Tower, what a great location and aspect, It was tastefully furnished and the artwork was impressive. We are already planning our next Christmas trip

  • "Perfect property for a girlie weekend away."

Ideal location as we like to go swimming. In fact our only complaint was not having a washing machine to spin our cossies (but not a big deal at all). Everything we needed was in there, would highly recommend.

Well appointed and perfect location on Crag path. Only down side is the door to the ensuite has glass panels which means no privacy, maybe add some film for modesty purposes.
