"Brilliant property that was perfectly equipped."
We’ll definitely be booking more stays in the future!
-
"Excellent apartment lovely big lounge diner & kitchen plus a very nice balcony."
Well placed for the town shops & eating
-
"I was pleased that cleaning materials were provided together with some basic provisions such as tea bags."
Since lockdown many owners have stopped doing this and I don't want to spend a holiday shopping for these items. The cottage was as described with good quality equipment. The only thing that caused a problem was there was only one side lamp in the living room so reading was only possible for one person.

"It was a lovely cottage - beautifully clean and only one small defect, in a little window catch rusted off in the back single bedroom."
I think all the beds would appreciate new mattresses - or perhaps toppers - but that's the only drawback I can think of. Kitchen well equipped; sitting room fine - all the equipment excellent. Really - just a lovely cottage.
-
"Sash windows were extremely difficult to open and the windows were filthy."
Upstairs bathroom door lock was broken and the courtyard garden was not adequately separated from our property to the point that next doors dog came walking into our cottage when our back door was open.
-
"Property was immaculate as ever, with very welcome enhancements and personal touches that added further delight and comfort."
Classy as always - highly recommended.
-
"Everything you could think of was provided kitchen wise, the beds were super comfy, the cottage was spotless and the location was ideal."
We will most definitely be going back.

"A lovely cottage and a great break"
-
"The property was ideally situated , easy access to beach and town."
Parking, as expected needed planning to coincide with parking restrictions, but doable. Two of our party had disabilities, so the steep staircase was awkward, and would preclude us from renting this property again. But otherwise no problem

"We loved the quirky layout of the cottage."
It had everything we needed to make the most of our holiday. The location on the high street and close to the beach is perfect. There are some lovely shops and places to eat close by and we had plenty to keep our family of 5 busy for the week. We even saw a seal in the sea. We’d love to come back next year. The only slight negative was the lack of parking outside the cottage but this wasn’t a big issue at all.

"We would have preferred summer duvets ."
Perhaps nets/ voiles at the front windows for privacy and some leaflets for local buses and walks etc

The popular, vibrant seaside town of Aldeburgh is famous for its culture, traditional feel and one of the best fish and chip shops in the country! Aldeburgh and Snape Maltings are home to one of the world’s greatest music festivals and has been named as one of the top 50 places to live in Britain. Crag Path runs along the seafront dividing the beautiful pebbly beach from the unspoilt pastel-coloured seafront properties and the town. The beach is a popular place for groups and couples to enjoy the wonderful fish and chips throughout the summer months. The town is steeped in history and has become a wonderful town for shopping with a good mixture of independent and chain stores to enjoy. The town also offers a good selection of pubs and restaurants or why not buy some freshly caught fish from the huts on the seafront and cook up your own feast at home. For those wishing for a more action-packed holiday there is excellent walking, cycling, sailing and golf at Aldeburgh. Growing in popularity you will want to return to Aldeburgh again and again!
