"Lovely house with everything you could possibly need, great location near beach."
Couple of minor cleanliness issues being main bedroom window had lots of cobwebs inside and tables in downstairs rooms mainly living room could do with a thorough clean, however we would definately go back
-
"Loved the accomodation but the email that was sent to us says there is a 6 digit code for the keys - its only 4."
We tried to call the emergency no but NO ONE called us back -really disappointing. Also becareful where you park as we got a parking ticket. The actual accomodation is brilliant and we loved it. There is building next door but didn't bother us. Only thing would be to put blinds in the lounge to have more privacy. Thanks

"2nd time we’ve stayed here."
Love being so central. Property is very well configured to make use of space. We loved it again Bunk beds getting a bit creaky but otherwise cant complain
-
"A very well-situated and efficiently comfortable place to stay."
It's the second time we have stayed there and we would certainly do so again. (Note: the building work next door, which started over 12 months agao, is ongoing: this is irritating though not ruinous.)

"We were not put off by having to go under the scaffolding to reach the front door."
The builders working next door were pleasant and friendly. We found the house perfect for a family get together, roomy, comfortable and very well equipped, particularly the kitchen, and the towels and bedding were such good quality. We struggled with closing the key safe but managed eventually. Thank you for a lovely stay.

"A beautiful property very well located and equipped"
-
"Thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas week in a well equipped, tastefully furnished and clean house."
Best we have ever stayed in over many years in both Aldeburgh and Thorpness. Minor issue, would benefit having a washing up bowl. Making washing up in the quartz / stoneware small sink less precarious when washing those delicate glasses and crockery.

"Wonderful little house, perfectly formed, high quality comfort right in the centre of the ‘action’."
It even had sharp knives which the cook appreciated and is quite rare even for a top quality holiday house.

"This is a beautiful well appointed and equipped holiday let in a great position."
Pretty much everything we could have expected and more. Provision of cleaning and dishwasher products was much appreciated. Tea, coffee and sugar etc was a lovely touch. Complimentary bottle of wine gratefully consumed. Had a lovely stay and really wasn't affected by the building work next door. Could i suggest that the rubbish collection info is clarified please. Its a bit vague as to what goes in which bin and what is recyclable. Also we put the bins out as instructed but only one was emptied. Leaving ours and the previous tenants rubbish uncollected. Also a velux window opener would be useful. Both the bathroom and landing velux windows are quite high up. In fact the landing one is dangerously high and someone could topple over the bannister trying to reach it. This really should be considered. Thank you for a great stay. We shall return!

"We loved staying at the Red Brick House - the beds were super comfortable, the decor was really fabulous and I loved having a utility room too."
-
"Fantastic stay, really comfortable cottage, very well equipped, especially the kitchen."
Great towels and bedding. Beautiful decoration. Very handy location, for beach and High Street.

"We had a great stay at The Red Brick House."
Perfect location for the high street but far enough away to be quiet. Very comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. We will book again.

"Lovely property although the garden was disappointing and in need of maintenance."
-
"Altogether a wonderful, tasteful property in a delightful area."
Thank you, owners. Some suggestions which may help to make it even better: 1 We have to choose our holiday cottages with care, as I have Parkinson's Disease which sometimes limits my mobility. The Red Brick House was close to ideal but the temporary, very wobbly, step up to the front door was less than stable even for the able-bodied. 2 The kitchen is lovely, but the wall units have been placed very high on the walls. The vertically challenged like me (5' 3") could only reach the bottom shelf of the wall cupboards and the lower half of the (ab fab!) fridge/freezer. A kitchen hop-up would have solved the problem. 3 We would have loved a tasteful grab handle in each of the showers.

About the location
ALDEBURGH
Thorpeness 2.1 miles; Saxmundham 7.2 miles.
The popular, vibrant seaside town of Aldeburgh is famous for its culture, traditional feel and one of the best fish and chip shops in the country! Aldeburgh and Snape Maltings are home to one of the world’s greatest music festivals and has been named as one of the top 50 places to live in Britain. Crag Path runs along the seafront dividing the beautiful pebbly beach from the unspoilt pastel-coloured seafront properties and the town. The beach is a popular place for groups and couples to enjoy the wonderful fish and chips throughout the summer months. The town is steeped in history and has become a wonderful town for shopping with a good mixture of independent and chain stores to enjoy. The town also offers a good selection of pubs and restaurants or why not buy some freshly caught fish from the huts on the seafront and cook up your own feast at home. For those wishing for a more action-packed holiday there is excellent walking, cycling, sailing and golf at Aldeburgh. Growing in popularity you will want to return to Aldeburgh again and again!
