  • "The property is very nice and has all of the equipment you need to have a comfortable stay."

The property does feel like it needs a really good clean as it was quite grubby in places but overall we had a lovely stay.

  • "My feedback is about Sykes who are unhelpfully difficult to contact by phone."

This was an issue when I first made the booking and later, actually staying at the property, when I wanted to extend the booking by a couple of days. In the latter case I finally located a number, spoke to a grumpy man who transferred me to a bookings line where no one ever answered my call. No helpful message regarding where I was in the queue or anything to indicate how long I'd have to wait. My attempt to extend the stay was therefore unsuccessful and the property owners lost out on revenue. Disappointing. Despite slick online facilities it is sometimes necessary to speak to a human... ...

  • "The house was lovely, very spacious and well equipped and the decor bright and cheerful."

The location was very quiet. We finally worked out how to book the leisure facilities, which were never very busy. We really appreciated the welcome pack. Everything was mostly very clean except for some black mould on one of the shower attachments in the top bathroom. The digital tv was very intermittent but the wifi was good. We enjoyed our stay.

  • "Comfortable, clean, hi spec property, welcome gifts were extremely generous (something for everyone)."

Only two minor faffs- we had a couple of instances when booking the pool that the two other groups had mistakenly read their ‘reservation’ and turned up which needed resolving but this had nothing to the home owner. And secondly the weather: disappointing as this must have been the wettest end to May!

  • "We had a most enjoyable stay, a lovely quiet, relaxing place!"

Three ensuite bathrooms rooms was a bonus! especially the showers being a really good size. One problem for me was the single beds, they both need something done to stop the rickety squeaking of the frames, my mattress was not supportive enough for me, so I was waking and turning a lot! the one nearest to the door is worse, most likely not such an issue if children are using them but not great for heavy adults. the squeaking, did disturb my daughter sleeping next door at times. Overall though, a great place to stay!

  • "Lovely stay at the property, forth time there."

It certainly feels like home from home. A well equipped, situated and comfortable property with nearly everything you might need available. Only one small issue that we encountered, spiders! My wife is terrified of them and I had to cull many when we arrived. Hope to visit again in the future.

  • "The Gallery was absolutely perfect for our family Christmas get together."

The location, facilities, attention to detail, cleanliness were excellent. There were plenty of games for our two autistic grandchildren, great walks and the swimming pool, games room and gym were a real bonus. There was a good supply of tea, coffee, milk, condiments and washing up items. The equipment was of a high quality and the beds and furniture very comfortable. We would recommend the property without hesitation.
