"This was a beautiful house a few minutes walk from the town centre."
There was loads to do in Bury St Edmunds and the surrounding area. The parking was only 2 minutes down the road and reasonably priced. Great welcome pack on arrival.
-
"Beautiful house and we had a very enjoyable week."
The only thing missing was a vacuum or a decent brush and dustpan as a week is a long time to not be able to hoover up!
-
"Absolutely beautifully restored Georgion House with garden, furnished tastefully and comfortable."
Great library in the dining room.

"We had a great holiday stay at this lovely house."
It is very spacious, well presented and central to everything including the Abbey Gardens and restaurants, which is what we wanted. The house had everything we needed and was very comfortable and full of historical charm. We didn't have a car so cannot comment on parking. It is located on a very busy traffic corner which may bother some, but this didn't us at all as it is so central and a short walk to everything in town. Would definitely recommend to those who are looking for the same.

"This house is in a great location right next to Abbey Gardens and in the centre of town."
It has loads of character, is clean and well equipped. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. It was perfect for four adults and two children. We had a great time over the bank holiday weekend and would definitely stay again if we went to Bury. Although there is no parking at the house, the car park is two minutes walk and cheap for a long stay ticket. Contact emails received were informative and instructions easy to follow.

"This was a lovely house, beautifully appointed, comfortable and spacious."
The welcome pack was much appreciated. This was not a holiday as such, as we were attending a family funeral. However, it was a welcome haven and so convenient for a visit to the cathedral, town centre, and to eat out.

"Another lovely stay (6th time?"
), at the Enterprise house. Fabulous central location with lots to do on your doorstep. House just as advertised with all the comforts of home. Perfect for families
-
"The property is brilliantly central for Burys lovely shops and restaurants."
The house has everything you need and is clean and comfortable.

"Our second stay at Enterprise House, and we are booked for a third visit!"
The house is lovely, well equipped and spacious. Be warned, the four single beds are rock hard and uncomfortable. Maintenance was an issue this time - hot water wasn’t hot, only lukewarm whatever we tried to do to fix it, lights in bathroom flickering incessantly, extractor fan in bathroom not working, lots of other lightbulbs gone elsewhere in the house, windows were filthy.

"This was my second stay and I had a wonderful and restful time enjoying this stunning and beautifully cared for home, visiting the town, going for walks, and also taking quiet time out of my busy job to do some writing and thinking."
I've already booked a third visit!

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Enterprise House and Bury St Edmunds."
The house was clean, well equipped and very convenient for excellent restaurants, bars and shops. Would recommend.

"Thoroughly enjoyed our lengthy stay at Enterprise with it's perfect city center location, charming and large interior, and 1st class attention to detail."
Look forward to staying there again the next time we are in Bury!

"Lovely period home super well located 2 minutes walk into the centre of town!"
Well equipped kitchen though we did have purchase a larger frying pan! The traffic noise is excused as so practical no be in the town centre and the abbey gardens

"This is our 3rd visit, and always we found the property meticulously clean and well presented on arrival."
The house is decorated and maintained as a home rather than a rental, and you get a distinct feeling that the owners have not spared their best. Beds are comfy and the living room was a great place to crash after a long day on our feet. Sofas are squishy and soft- and the kids loved snuggling in the blankets that are kept in the box upstairs. Kids also completely taken by two of the bedrooms being connected by a storage space! The house is brilliantly placed in that it is within walking distance of all of Bury’s local attractions. The Abbey gardens, the cathedral and Wooster’s which is actually better than the French patisserie we have here in London! It’s a great house to use a base for going to Cambridge for the day or beaches on the Norfolk coast. The lovely part is walking into a warm and inviting home, that has all the conveniences of home. Large kitchen and dining room. Perfect home away from home!

"This is a potentially lovely house in a delightful town but our stay was spoiled because firstly: when we arrived at 4pm the house had not been cleaned."
The beds were covered with the previous visitors' towels and bedding. The toilets were dirty and there was urine dribble on the floor of one toilet. Secondly, one of our predecessors had left a note listing 9 issues, all were still unaddressed. I also had to refix the downstairs toilet seat, not something one ever wants to do, let alone today whilst Covid is still spreading. The manager explained she had tried to phone me but my phone was off and that the cleaner 's car had broken down, which is unfortunate but she was nothing like as apologetic as I would have expected. We went out for two hours when the cleaner arrived but the surfaces could not have been satisfactorily wiped in so short of time and the place did not smell antiseptic on our return. Previous visitors had drawn attention to the broken bath selector in the bath/shower, it was still broken during our stay. This was something that particularly mattered to us. As it was the water from the shower drained painfully slowly, leaving a dismal tideline. In fairness the manager did offer to come to see us but one of our party has a medical condition which meant that they could not have accepted a visitor into the house during Covid. I left a note of all of our concerns for the manager. A week has passed and she has not replied to them. Accidents and breakdowns happen but I would have expected a better service from a reputable company.
The Property Manager had messaged and telephoned Mr Dean in advance that the cleaning would not be complete before 4:00pm check in because the cleaner’s car had broken down. At the time, Mr Dean denied having received any communication, so the Property Manager had to send him screenshots of her messages and outgoing calls. Mr Dean abruptly approached the Property Manager, who is very experienced and very polite. The statements he makes about his own arrival time and timing of the cleaner’s visit do not match those of the Property Manager; and his description of the state of the property are completely at odds with any other feedback we have ever received. "We had significant difficulty accessing the property on the first day which led to our young children having to wait in the car for 45 minutes after a 4 hour car journey."
Initially there was no answer to the 24 hour maintenance number which went into voicemail a few times; once we were called back it became apparent that we had been given the incorrect entry code for which we were-eventually-given a very feeble apology. Once I managed to enter the property, I found that the cleaner was still there!

"This cottage is full of amazing period features and boasts an amazing location across from Abbey Gardens in Bury St Edmunds, and near some great restaurants."
It comfortably hosted the 5 of us. The children loved the old house and spent a long time looking for secret passages! The house was really well equipped and they were really responsive... We had an issue with one bed not having a sheet that fitted so my mother was having to sleep directly on some of the mattress but when we called, one was posted to us arriving the next day. A couple of things would help in the kitchen (sharp knives, cereal bowls) but these did not affect our overall stay.

"Enjoyed our stay."
Great location and loved the kitchen! More than enough room for 2 adults and 2 small children. Would definitely rent there again.
