  • "Ideally located for the area we wished to explore with ample parking for several cars."

The house was adequate for the two of us but would have felt cramped if four people were there as listed. Disappointed with the limited storage facilities - no hanging space for clothing and just one chest of drawers in the double room, nothing in the twin room.

Thank you very much for your stay and leaving a review. We have taken your feedback on board and installed hanging space in bothbm bedrooms. I hope you might consider coming to stay again! Property Owner

  • "The property and location was first class."

Easy access to all parts of Suffolk via the nearby A12. A short walk to The Duck public house which serves first class and reasonably priced food.Ample parking and private well maintained rear garden. The only downside was the lack of wardrobes or clothes hanging facilities and no coat hangers. If these were provided the property would be faultless.

Thank you so much for your review and I’m delighted you enjoyed your stay! We have taken your feedback on board and installed hanging space in both bedrooms. I hope you come to stay again! Property Owner

  • "Comfortable cottage, but no wardrobes or clothes hanging facilities in either bedroom."

Twin bedded room had no furniture, except a bed side table. We chose the cottage because we prefer twin beds, but had nowhere to unpack anything. Bedside cabinets and somewhere to hang clothes would be a great improvement.

Thank you very much for choosing to stay with us and I hope you enjoyed the cottage! Thank you for your feedback and we have taken it on board and installed hanging rails in both bedrooms. We hope you choose to stay with us again. Property Owner

  • "Absolutely fantastic is an understatement!"

This cottage is definitely a home away from home - without all the stress! The owner has thought of everything and then some. The cutlery, crockery etc are of high quality and the place was immaculate (and beautiful). I would without a doubt stay here again and will definitely be recommending it to my friends and family. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

  • "The cottage was homely and comfy , clean and tidy with comfortable beds."

The garden now looks much better than the photo and we enjoyed sitting quietly reading in it! The kitchen was well equipped. Although the cottage is near to the railway station, we couldn’t hear any trains. The local pub, the Duck, is a brief walk away and worth a visit. Grumbles; The BBC tv signal is poor on the live signal and the bedroom curtains are a trip hazard. We would happily stay here again.

Hi Susan, Thank you so much for your feedback and detailed review! The Duck is a great pub and glad the trains didn’t pose an issue (they are very quiet!). We will look into the TV signal and the curtains are on the agenda! We hope you will come to stay again soon. Property Owner

  • "Beautiful cottage lovingly restored."

Lovely style. Wonderful art, and interiors. Great location. Ample parking. The only thing missing was a microwave for speed and tea strainer. Presumably the garden is the next project to be finished. Back gate lock is bent and it blows open. Flashing red light on cess pit and view of cess pit (would be better to screen off)

Hi Karen, Thank you so much for choosing to stay at my cottage and I'm so happy that you enjoyed your time. As one of my first guests your feedback is valued, I have taken your comments on board and there is now a microwave at the property. I have also changed the closure to the garden gate so hopefully no more issues there, and we have also fenced off the sewage system, so much less visible. The garden is indeed a work in progress, but hopefully with some sunshine, there should be some wild flowers growing up and also a bit more grass! I hope you rebook if you are back in the area! Thank you! Property Owner
