  • "The place was clean and in good order inside, the quality of the fixtures and fittings were excelent."

Our only issue was the decking area not covered by the porch roof. It is dirty and green, it was damp first morning and our grand daughter who was stying in another property on the camp with her family. came to see us and ran on the decking, it was very slippery and she fell hurting her knee. I slipped and fell picking her up, That really needs to adressed, As I say otherwise great and we may return next year

We have since put signs up about the decking. "Please be careful during wet or icy weather. " Unfortunately during the winter the decking can get wet and icy as a result it can be easy to slip on it. We power wash all of our decking's every March. Your stay was during a very damp period. We are sorry that anybody fell on the decking. Our terms do state that anybody under 16 are suitably supervised at all times. The site has a similar policy. We look forward to seeing you again, we love this area as there is so much to do and see. Property Owner

I brought enough to last a life time, and needn't of worried as only a 15 minute drive to supermarket and shops and even a village pub with a shop, great chinese takeaway and the food in the club house very good quality. Within the villa a lower hot powerful shower, and all white goods working well bedrooms lovely and comfy too and we all slept great. Decking not used as not the weather sadly. Swimming pool , play area lovely and our 9 year old foster son loved it as did our 2 special need men 36 and 32 enjoyed swimming and pool Staff very kind and friendly and the dogs made so welcome too. Everything was great and made our weeks stay lovely ..... we will return Thank you

  • "Nice well maintained property."

All facilities supplied from loo rolls to laundry/hand/dish soap. Welcome bottle of milk in the fridge, tea, coffee and sugar in cupboard. Everything you may need was supplied. Bedding and towels clean and good quality. Furniture comfy. Came at end of the summer season when kids at school, with my dog who loved the area as there are various woods and beaches nearby. There were about a dozen other dogs at the resort at the same time, so holiday romances were made (but I doubt if he will keep in contact). I will book this property again if going to east coast.

Thanks for the great feedback. The dogs all get on so well . Property Owner

  • "Very clean and well presented."

The crockery and cooking equipment were in very good order. Mattresses on the two rooms used were comfortable. The holiday park itself was quiet and clean. We would stay again. Just for information and not to detract from the overall impression of the villa, the owner might want to attend to the front gate which is coming off one hinge, the toilet seat needs refixing or replacing, the front door lock is tricky and might need some oil, and a second key would be helpful.

Thank you for your pointers and will our team to check them all out. Thanks Gary Property Owner

The swimming pool was a big win for the family especially the kids. The double bed was too soft for comfort and too short for me (6'3"), but the kids loved the other beds. Thanks for a great property from which to enjoy our holiday.

thanks for the great feedback. We have just replaced the main bed due to the feedback. Glad the pool was fun. Property Owner

  • "Great property - perfect location."

Well equipped with plenty of storage. All essentials provided - we had taken tea towels, bin bags, washing up sponges, toilet rolls etc but were pleasantly surprised that they were all there for us. Plenty of hot water. Easy access to the beach through the back gate. The shop behind the pub is convenient for food items. The pool was great. Our only complaint was that some of the beds were not comfortable. The mattress in the main bedroom is definitely past its best and needs replacing urgently. It is the only thing that would stop us from re-booking this property.

Thanks for your feedback - we will certainly check out the mattress and get it replaced. Thanks for the rest of the feedback. Property Owner

  • "The villa was lovely, on a nice quiet site and with good facilities nearby - shops and supermarkets only 10 minutes drive away or a small village shop opposite for essentials."

Although the weather was chilly, the villa was really cosy and had everything we needed for our stay. It was really clean and welcoming and had a fresh appearance inside. The small balcony off the main bedroom would be perfect for a morning cuppa looking out over the sea (weather permitting!) and the deck outside was bigger than the photo showed, so useful for cleaning the dog after walks!

thanks for your great feedback. Summer is coming! Property Owner

  • "Absolutely loved our stay at villa 109 on waterside park corton."

On site facilities were great and although one row back from the cliff we could hear the sea from the terrace and front bedroom. The white horse pub over the road we highly recommend so friendly and accommodating our dairy free requests. A very peaceful little village base within east reach of lots of locations, can’t wait to return.

Thanks for the feedback, look forward to your return. See you soon Gary and Tina Property Owner

  • "The villa and facilities were excellent with everything you needed and we even had a sea view."

Access to the beach was not available from the site due to recent sea damage but it was only a short walk to get there, otherwise a quick hop in the car to lots of accessible beaches. The on-site pub with restaurant was excellent and I would lightly recommend ‘bingo night’ but make sure you book a table as it’s very busy but really easy going. We had such a laugh!! The inside swimming pool is great for kids as the deep end isn’t too deep and was not over busy. Overall a great holiday break which we thoroughly enjoyed.

thanks for the great feedback. Glad you enjoyed all of the facilities at Waterside and that your family had a brilliant time. Gary Property Owner

  • "Lovely location and the owner has provided everything you need to make this a home from home break."

Welcome message with all key code information the morning of arrival day. Pint of milk in fridge for a cuppa on arrival. Slight issue with some cleaning (oven and microwave) this was remedied quickly with a message to owners and a return by cleaners at our convenience. There is currently no onsite access to beach due to recent storm damage (5th May 22) Alternative path appx 25 minutes walk via Azure seas holiday park. Maintenance man arrived one morning to paint balcony overhang this had not been communicated to us and changed our plans that morning. Great Chinese takeaway at entrance to park and a down to earth friendly village pub with huge outside seating area. Village shop is at back of pub. This is a lovely part of the country and I look forward to a return visit and be happy to book any of Gary’s properties again.

So sorry your experience was not perfect. I really appreciate the feedback as these were real genuine issues due to storms causing lack of access from the property to the nearest beach access point. Apart from the beach access you found to be some distance away, I'd like to reassure guests that there is also another alternate access point to the beach just approximately a 2 minute walk away, at the other end of the campsite. These things do happen in a well used holiday business. We will always aim to resolve or react to issues anybody has on their holidays in our holiday homes and I'm glad we could sort the microwave issue etc straightaway. The balcony work was being done as soon as we were aware it needed attention, as we like to keep the property well and as regularly maintained as possible and apologies if this inconvenienced you on this occasion. It was great speaking to you and we have now improved the villa regarding your suggestions. Property Owner
