"We had a very comfortable stay in a peaceful setting with everything we needed."
The cabin was spotlessly clean and well maintained.

"What a great place to stay with our dog, there were dog beds ,bowls and treats!"
The garden was large and secure. It was full of good sniffy sniffs for him . We saw squirrels and deer and had a great view across the fields. If you love the country you will enjoy staying here!! The accomodation is new and very comfortable to stay in. There is a secure car park and in the Summer we could see ourselves being able to sit in the garden to enjoy alfresco dining! ( It was early March when we stayed). But with the pub just a short walk away, with very friendly landlords we did not go hungry or thirsty! Great Finborough is a great place to explore Suffolk being central for visiting East , West and Babergh areas or even Flatford and Willy Lots cottage in Constable Country! And of course do not forget to visit Ed Sheeran "Castle on the Hill" (Framingham Castle) We will definitely be returning!
Thank you so much for your feedback, we appreciate it and are so happy you enjoyed your stay. We would love to welcome you back. Property Owner

"Just came back from a week staying in this lovely caravan/glamping van (not sure what to call it!"
) and it was awesome. The secure garden was great for our greyhound to run around in and we could let him out in the knowledge he would be safe. Although it seems like miles from anywhere it's only a few minutes walk from the village which has a lovely friendly pub with good community atmosphere and pub grub. It's only a 10 minute drive from Stowmarket too which has loads of facilities including supermarkets, restaurants and take-aways. The accommodation was very clean and the layout ideal for 2 humans and their dog. The linen and REALLY FLUFFY TOWELS were an added bonus. The TV is a Smart TV so you will need to log into your various streaming platforms if you want to watch anything as there's no terrestrial TV channels. If I had a few bits of feedback it would be that the kitchen could have a few more pans, chopping boards and baking trays and maybe some mugs as well as cups. And the sofas/armchairs could be a bit more comfy (less garden furniture more put your feet up furniture). All in all a lovely caravan in a lovely spot.
Thanks so much for your response, there were mugs so I will check that out and the baking tins are in the side of the cupboard. We hope you come back soon.xx Property Owner

"The Hoot not only offers every convenience and facility that you would enjoy at home but so much more."
Idyllic, secluded situation. Wrap around enclosed garden. Utter peace to sit watching wildlife - deer, hares, kestrels and numerous small birds. The hosts live just up the lane. They are passionate that you enjoy your stay. I would urge you to book and see for yourselves. Stayed twice already & next break booked.
We were so pleased you have returned and still love it so much. Thanks for your kind words and see you soon. Property Owner

"Lovely and peaceful, luckily we had glorious weather and spent a lot of time outdoors…."
.one small snag for us was the seating indoors, we would have a liked a sofa as the furniture was a little uncomfortable for us, but wouldn’t stop us from staying again.
Thank you so much for your feedback. Unfortunately at the moment new furniture isn’t planned but we hope to see you again. Property Owner

"What a find!"
The Hoot is idyllic. The property is extremely comfortable and has outstanding kitchen facilities. Very private. Ample seating outside to watch deer, hares, kestrels, goldfinches etc. Simply did not want to leave & have already booked 2 more stays. The hosts are winderful & live just up the quiet lane. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend a stay there.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We look forward to welcoming you back. Xx Property Owner

"We had a great week at The Hoot."
An ideal base for visiting local attractions or just staying put and relaxing. We have two Greyhounds who really enjoyed roaming the grounds which were fully enclosed even for smaller dogs. Lots of lovely walks nearby too. The accommodation was not only comfortable but of a high quality. The owners who live further along the lane were on hand if we had any queries but also kept their distance and allowed us to enjoy our privacy. All in all I highly recommend The Hoot if you are looking for somewhere to stay in the heart of Suffolk.
Thank you so much, we would love to see you both and you beautiful dogs again. You were such lovely, considerate guests. Property Owner
