  • "Lovely cottage in a prime Southwold spot."

Cosy enough for myself and two children. There was an issue with the dishwasher which got stuck on a cycle overnight and leaked on the floor. Everything had to be handwashed as it wasn't clean. (Comments had been written in the visitors book by previous guests about the dishwasher not cleaning for them too.) The cold tap in the kitchen was leaking and without draining board facilities this was becoming a bit of a worktop issue. In addition, the shower tray in the bathroom was close to overflowing due to slow drainage. No doubt linked to the age of the house drains; but could potentially become a problem at some point. I reported all issues to the holiday company and they have said they will act on the feedback. I hope it's sorted before the next letting.

  • "A quaint little cottage in an ideal location, 2 mins walk from sea front and 2 minutes walk from town."

Clean and tidy and well equipped with everything needed for a comfy stay. A nice comfy bed and a lovely power shower. Thank you also for the welcome pack, much appreciated. We enjoyed our stay in Harriet’s cottage and it was nice and quiet and as always, Southwold is a lovely little town. Visit The Sole Bay Inn, a cracking Adnams pub with good beer and great food and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Thanks for a great Holiday 10/10

  • "Fantastic accommodation in a perfect location."

Had everything we needed. (Even the takeaway delivery menus). Great quality mattress and down duvet and pillows (very much appreciated) in the double bedroom. Tastefully decorated and so a lovely space to hideaway in. Small but perfectly snug. The kids loved the bunk beds (aged 10 and 12) but probably not large enough for any children over this age. Thankyou!

The location was brilliant, the cottage was small but very cosy, perfect for the two of us. Facilities were great, everything was clean and comfy. We would absolutely stay here again

Would recommend it and would stay there again. We did struggle to find Harriet’s Cottage and What3Words would have been very helpful!
