"We will never be returning."
We have been charged £85 for apparently leaving the hot tub in a bad state. Pictures were provided which do not show any damage at all - they are just pictures of the filter which should clean the hot tub. There was also a 2 hour power cut which surprise surprise was failed to mention. Never returning and will be going to press and social media on this.
Thank you for your review, although we were shocked on reading this as this does not align with our other excellent reviews from guests who have enjoyed their stay at Skylarks. I am sorry to hear there was a power cut at Skylarks during your stay, this is unfortunately outside of our control, but I am glad to hear this was rectified quickly. On checking the property following your stay damages were reported, and under the terms and conditions of your booking we are able to be compensated for this. Property Owner

"We really enjoyed our stay, the lodge is very tastefully docorated, comfortable and clean."
We enjoyed the hot tub and early evening sun on the decking. The setting is very peaceful yet close enough to walk into Bury St Edmonds which is a really nice place. The check in and out was very easy and we appreciated the bottle of wine on arrival. We would cetainly recommend this lodge and would visit again.
Thank you for your comments, we are thrilled to hear you had such a wonderful time. Property Owner

"Such a well equipped and beautifully furnished lodge - it was just what we needed for a weeks escape."
Very comfortable and the hot tub was great! We didn’t venture out that much as our plan was for rest and relaxation and the park did feel lovely and secluded. There isn’t anything else on the park other than lodges which suited us for the week but plenty of places you can get to if you need/want to.
Thank you for your feedback, we are so pleased you enjoyed your stay. Property Owner

"Disappointed wifi was a major problem although a3 way conversation between my wife Julia {owner} and 3 cummunications was something of a challenge block sink leaking sink leaking outlet soil pipe to loo dust from cushions when shaken I must point out at this stage when Julia contacted did try to help although I became on first name terms with Maria {estate manger} due to the number of times I contacted her when Plumber /handyman came out left sink leaking and pushed Putty !"
! back on outlet soil pipe joint !!!!!! water remained at back of loo SkyLarks was a big disappointment and will not go back again
Dear Penelope, we are sorry you experienced these issues however, we did our level best to help you as soon as you were in touch. We also have an excellent team on site who attended as soon as informed. It was unfortunate their plumber didn't replace the pipes properly but this was also remedied as soon as identified. "Would 100% go back, enjoyed the place very much."
Only downfall was the shower in my room was extremely hot and it seemed the temperature was not changing or working when I was turning it. Other than that I have no complaints I will be going back again and recommending to friends.
Thank you for your feedback. We had the cartridge replaced in the shower Property Owner
