  • "Clean / tidy accommodation booked up the day before!"

Arrival! Great base, to explore Norfolk & Suffolk. We have never been to these areas before, & enjoyed the experience

  • "Lovely clean and tidy chalet."

Furnished to a good modern standard. Great location on a quiet and small site.

  • "The chalet itself is immaculate."

It’s clearly very recently renovated - it’s pristine, and feels fresh throughout. The bed was very comfortable (though the sofas not so comfy). The kitchen had everything we needed, and the board games and DVDs were perfect for a two night stay.’ We were disappointed on arrival to realise this was not a seaview chalet. We feel the Vrbo listing strongly implied that it was. The first photo was of a full sea view. Photo 14 showed the front of the property and was immediately followed by Photo 15 showing the sea view (this photo turns out to have been taken in the village). The property is called Dolly’s Lookout but it “looks out” on nothing except other chalets.

  • "Did a last min booking for a few days here early October."

We were really happy with the property. Good for parking. It was really well maintained and very clean with good quality linens and furnishings. Lovely comfy double bed ( also good sized bunk beds in 2nd bedroom but just used this room for out bits n pieces) good sized shower. A lovely seaside theme running through. Bright and modern. It had a private footpath close by leading to steps down to the beach. It was a great base for visiting places along the coastline, Aldborough thorpness, Southwold, beccles, Orton broads. We did so much walking. It is quiet in kessingland beach but does have a nice pub restaurant and fish and chip shop within 5-10 mins walk. Thank you for the lovely welcome items. The only thing was there was no Wi-Fi/broadband. We Had a really lovely chilled out few days and would love to go back again. Thank you June Royce & christine

  • "Spotlessly clean with everything we needed."

Very very quiet, and things left outside at night were still there in the morning. Comfortable bed and slept extremely well. People around were friendly. It's a different place away from the burbs and did me to a T!

  • "Dolly's Lookout exceeded all our expectations."

It's very clean and comfortable and the seaside theme decorations add to the fun of being on holiday. All appliances work perfectly, and there's a huge TV and dvd collection for those days when the weather lets you down. The location is great, a very short walk to a lovely beach, a corner shop that has all the essentials and a good fish and chip place. There are also bus stops close by with a good service if you want a break from the car. We would certainly recommend.

  • "This is a lovely chalet which has been carefully prepared to give a feel of home."

The space has been utilised well to make it feel airy and comfortable. The finishing touches with seaside theme give a welcoming feel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come again. The private entrance to the beach was the only part we couldn’t use due to the number of steps and my husband’s disability. Other wise a great place to stay and ideal location.

Thank you Maxine for your kind words, so pleased you enjoyed your stay, hopefully see you again. Property Owner
