  • "Absolutely amazing cottage, well maintained, very clean and had everything anyone could possibly need for a holiday stay."

We had a great time and were very comfortable in the cottage. The owner was very friendly and kept in touch to ensure we had a good experience. We would definitely recommend Sea Breezes and will be booking to stay again at a later date.

  • "A lovely cosy cottage with all the facilities we needed."

Nice quiet location but within a few minutes walk to the beach and promenade walk to Lowestoft. A corner shop a few doors away and the pub at the end of the road serving good food was really handy. The welcome pack of treats for all members of our party (including children and dog) was a thoughtful touch, and Jackie kept in contact to make sure we had no issues once we had arrived.

Lovely comfortable bed. Everything we needed. The owner was really helpful. The cottage was situated in a very quiet street and parking was always available. Excellent spot for visiting surrounding areas, some lovely local pubs and the corner shop was ideally situated. It is a short walk to the beach where you can walk or cycle along the promenade to Lowestoft. Would definitely stay here again 10/10!!

  • "Have given 5 stars because we like the house and found it most satisfactory for the weeks stay."

We stayed there a few years ago - with a dog that time, as there is provision for this. The house has a table and chairs in the back yard which would have been lovely to use more had our weather been conducive. I missed a shoe rack or cupboard - perhaps we carry too many shoes away with us! Other than this, we were happy with the equipment provided, thank you.

Comfortable, clean accommodation with everything we needed for our stay. We were able to cook an Easter Sunday roast and bake a Simnel cake without needing to buy any other equipment than what was already there. The lounge is comfortable and suited us perfectly for evenings in. The bedrooms are perfect with sturdy furniture, comfy beds and quality linen. The bathroom is spacious and the shower is powerful with a reliable provision of hot water from the super-efficient boiler. The heated towel rail is an added bonus. When we did have to use the heating, the house heated quickly and stayed warm after turning the thermostat off. Sea Breezes is perfectly situated for walks to the beach, the pier, the local shops and the local pub! We slept soundly with no disturbances and will definitely be back again at some point. Thanks to Jackie for being an exemplary host and on hand if needed.

Jacky was so nice about our 'key problem' loved the location, beach at one end of road (and pub) Well stocked shop at other end. Buses to all the places we wanted to visit. Mattress on double bed is VERY firm but obviously this is a personal preference and the kettle doesn't turn off by itself. Cottage very clean, spacious and has everything you need, small sitting out area was lovely to cool off after the hot weather we had in September! All pubs serve great food (check times) and The Tramway is the best breakfast ever.

The cottage is scrupulously clean, decorated and furnished to a very high standard, and we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and home-from-home. The extra bits for our dogs were so thoughtful, as were the generous welcome gifts. Jackie was friendly and helpful, and easily contacted although we didn’t need to get in touch during our stay. It was nice to know that Jackie was on hand if we needed anything. The cottage is perfectly situated to be a quiet retreat yet the sea is a stone’s throw away, with The Jolly Sailors pub & restaurant at the end of the road, a corner shop a few doors down, Tea by the Sea tea shop, and a fish & chip shop situated in the next street. Thanks, Jackie. We loved our stay at Sea Breezes

Great location - quiet, yet close to beach, coastal path, a couple of good pubs and a good fish and chip shop. Luckily, we even had some decent weather thrown in, so we were on the beach most days! Jackie, the owner of the property, provided great communication from the outset (and beyond if you had any queries) - very nice person and very helpful. It was a last-minute booking and gave the owner Jackie little time to prepare. However, when we arrived the cottage was warm and homely, the Chocolate, Wine, and cookies made us feel instantly at home and the cottage had everything you could wish for. A lovely place to come back to and relax after a hard day's renovating. The Jolly Sailer pub just a few minutes' walk away was a wonderful place to eat but beware Friday and Saturday it gets remarkably busy even at this time of year. The owners sent a text to make contact when we arrived and it was nice to know someone was available if we encountered and issues. The location of the cottage is perfect with a pub and the beach two minutes down the street. There are plenty of walks available for the dogs and Lowestoft is just a short walk along the prom. • "Good location, nice tidy property but lacking in comfort."

Poor quality furniture i.e settees uncomfortable and very low, mattresses on beds lacking in depth and bedding, duvets and pillows poor quality and well worn.

Thank you for your feedback. Comfort – The cottage sleeps 4 and is furnished with 2 x 2 seater sofas. Seat height is 20 inches [approx 510mm], which we would consider to be a standard height. The seat squabs and covers were fitted new in January 2021. For clarity, the double bed mattress is 9 inches deep [approx 230mm],premium quality and locally hand made. Bedding – During the summer beds are made up using a low tog summer duvet, however, guests have access to thicker duvets to suit their preference. In this instance bedding and pillows were new in April 2021. We accept that pillows can be a matter of personal preference so providing medium firm items tries to reach a happy medium. We are sorry that the comfort did not meet your expectations but we will take on your comments. Property Owner

These close very slowly under their own weight. A problem for people with those is that all other lids and seats everywhere are not soft close, sometimes catching people out ! The Eco fifty degree / minute dish washer cycle seemed to take quite a while. Nevertheless the plates and cutlery were sparkling afterwards. I didn't use the washing machine as the weather wouldn't let me get it all dry before going home. I thought the central heating arrangement / programme is a work of absolute genius - most impressed.
