  It is so peaceful and comfortable here we found it hard to leave some days! Great location close to the Broads and the coast. Good pub and cafe walking distance. A very relaxing week for us, would highly recommend this property

• "We had a lovely relaxing week at The Hideaway."

  The cottage had everything we needed and the owners were perfect hosts - available if needed but otherwise unobtrusive. It wasn’t warm enough to sit outside but we spent quite some time gazing out of the large windows, across the wild flower meadow, watching the birds and animals.

• "Great location for exploring the area, as well as having a lovely outlook for just relaxing and doing nothing."

  The property was warm and cosy for a late winter/ early spring break. Having the owners close by was also a great bonus. Would highly recommend.

• "We had a wonderful week away at The Lookout."

  The property was spotless and super comfortable, the views are amazing, and the hot tub was very welcome after a long day walking! The kitchen was well-provisioned without being cluttered. The owners are lovely and on hand with a good recommendation or help if you need them. We’d absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the area - the views alone are worth it!

• "What a beautiful property you have!"

  We had the most relaxing time and came back totally refreshed after our stay there. Being able to wake up each morning to the panoramic view through the windows was glorious. We were very lucky with the weather too so had unwinding time in the hot tub after many long walks. We even got to see Seals close up on Horsey Beach! Would highly recommend as the owners made us feel very welcome.

• "Fabulous holiday."

  Great welcome. Cabin was clean and well equipped. Great views across the fields with plenty of wildlife - we even saw a barn owl one evening. The food at the Village Maid was fabulous and well worth a visit. Plenty to do nearby without having to drive too far. Highly recommended!

• "What a stunning place, so many attributes."

  The location, the quality of the accommodation and the fact that you're in the heart of a village with a pub! The owners really made it, a personal great, with offers of a light weight duvet as the temperature's soared to 30°, and instructions on how to fire up the hot tub. The view from the dining room and lounge were intoxicating. The wild life around the area was amazing, we even spotted a white Seka deer! This is a perfect location to explore the area of East Anglia. Having been to many self catering holiday accommodations this would rate as one of the best.

• "This is an amazing location."

  You know you've picked well when on the first night you're watching a Barn Owl hunt for its dinner about 30 metres away from you. Muntjack deer almost up to the windows, a Buzzard hovering over the field, absolutely incredible. In terms of the property I don't think we've stayed in a location that has been so well thought through. The heating zones, lay-out, and comfort are top notch. The cherry on the cake - the host Marina was also great and made us feel immediately relaxed. Can't fault this one.

  Sorry for the slow reply but we've been way on holiday ourselves. So glad you enjoyed your stay at the Lookout. • "Fantastic location, great hosts, lots to see and do in the area."

  Highlight for us was the views, peace & quiet and the hot tub! Accommodation was comfortable, clean and well equipped. More storage in bedroom for clothing would have been great, but this definitely didn’t spoil our break. Would highly recommend this destination.

• "The Lookout is the most beautiful, calming place to stay, you really don’t want to leave."

  In a perfect location, amazing views with gorgeous sunsets and fabulous hosts. The property has literally everything and more you could need during your stay. The bed is so comfy it made us order the same mattress for home. Altogether we has a lovely relaxing week and are looking forward to staying there again.

• "We have returned from our lovely stay at The Lookout."

  The whole place is finished to a very high standard with lots of lovely little extras with even a choice of pillow types which was really appreciated. The super king bed was very comfortable and the dyson fan in the bedroom was greatly appreciated in this warm weather. The location is very peaceful and there are stunning views and sunsets from the windows and patio area. The hot tub was easy to use and perfect for our relaxing break. Thank you very much to the lovely owners.

• "Property was as described and per the photos."

  Property was of a high standard - the owners have really succeeded in making the property extremely comfortable and luxurious in a very easy and informal way. We loved it. The views are fantastic - even binoculars are provided to view the wildlife. A small welcome gift was appreciated too. The property owner was keen to please - we didn’t need to bother her - but we certainly would have if needed. It’s obvious that she wants her guests to be happy with every part of their stay. Would highly recommend. A tranquil oasis only a few miles away from the buzz of the seaside towns and the beauty of The Broads. Village cafe and pub are fab too.

• "Fab accommodation, quiet location, clean and comfortable with great views across the landscape."

  The lodge had everything we needed for the week. Great hosts who were always on hand when needed. We found that we were able to switch off as soon as we had arrived and settled in. The location is ideal for visiting places up and down the East coast.

• "Fabulous property, wonderful views over open fields, huge windows to watch the wildlife."

  Great patio sun trap, with loungers provided. Hot tub excellent. A bit too warm inside, however the owners provided fans and are looking at purchasing air conditioning.

  We have had special film put on all the windows now that reflect 60% of the heat away so hopefully all good next time we have any warmer weather. Thanks for the feedback and we hope to see you again. Property Owner

• "What a great find!"

  Beautifully presented, well equipped and extremely elegant and comfy. The wood fired hot tub is also a great bonus. Plenty of wildlife to spot from the panoramic windows and a very short walk takes you to a lovely village pub with good quality food and drinks. At the end of the drive is a cafe and bakery for tasty treats and an afternoon tea to die for! Nothing is too much trouble for the owners. We will be back!
