  • "An absolutely lovely property, so much so we booked a further two weeks the following month."

  • "Possibly the nicest, best equipped and most comfortable holiday flat that we have had in Southwold, and we go there a lot."

This was a great stay. Booking and payment process was clear and efficient with timely and helpful communication from Sykes.

Thank you so much for your amazing feedback. So glad you loved our apartment and really hope you come and stay again. Property Owner

  • "First of all our stay started with the problem that we we were given a wrong code for the key-safe."

Only after some telephone-calls we got the correct code and eventually were able to enter the flat. The flat is fine - especially for us - only two persons. But !!! - we hadn't been warned that there is a building-site next to our seats in front of the house. We would have expected to be informed about this and would have appreciated to have been offered a slight reduction of the booking fee. In the past we stayed in different flats in THE CRAIGHURST. Last year we were informed two weeks before our arrival (!!!) that our booking must be cancelled due to building-works. So THE CRAIGHURST doesn't give us only pleasant memories...

Many apologies we were not aware of any repair works to the side of the building. Best of Suffolk are available for guest queries before and during your stay. The keysafe code does change for security reasons and guests receive the latest code in the days before arrival. Thank you for your nice feedback on our apartment and we would love you to come and stay again to enjoy its comforts and the views out to sea. Property Owner

  • "Unfortunately the fire alarm did go off twice during our stay for no apparent reason - was soon sorted after following the instructions."

The T.V. remote had a mind of it's own! For a disabled person more grab rails would be useful in bathrooms. Other than that it is a very well situated apartment - very spacious indeed. We hope to return as it is very rare to find accommodation like this which suits our needs because my husband is disabled.

Best of Suffolk are available for all guest matters. The apartment gets really good feedback for accessibility and we are pleased it suited your needs. Please come again. Property Owner

  • "We loved the property."

It was very well equipped for self catering. The property is perfectly situated for both shops and the beach. Our only criticism was the shower in both bathroom and ensuite needed new hose. They were both completely inflexible, making it impossible to use, particularly the one in ensuite.

Best of Suffolk are available to help with any guest matters. The shower hoses have been replaced immediately, thank you for your feedback. Really pleased you loved the apartment and location. Look forward to you staying again. Property Owner

  • "Delightful flat, perfectly situated in the town with a beach view."

Mum loved her break there and watching the world pass by from the chair in the bay window when she was too tired to walk. Despite its location on a busy road we found it very quiet, no road noise of from our neighbours. We did have a problem locking the lounge door and couldn’t locate any specific instructions explaining how to, but as the door couldn’t be opened from outside it didn’t hinder our holiday. Looking forward to booking again next year

Best of Suffolk are available to solve any issues. Thanks to your feedback the door lock has been fixed. Glad you loved the location and accommodation. We look forward to you visiting again. Property Owner

  • "Excellent accommodation but nets in bedrooms would be helpful for privacy in daytime Welcome pack was appreciated would definitely go again."

Thank you for your amazing feedback. As the bedroom windows are fire escapes we cannot fit nets but we have now installed opaque film to the lower half of the windows to provide privacy without losing daylight. We hope you visit again soon. Property Owner

  • "This property was chosen as my father is 85 and has limited mobility."

We were able to accommodate his mobilty scooter, wheeled walker and toilet frame making it a real home from home. The view is stunning and the location perfect for the Pier and town centre. Everything was within walking distance, even for my elderly Dad.

We are so pleased the accessibility features of the apartment helped make your stay a success. We hope you stay again. Property Owner
