10 Customer Reviews

  • "Fantastic holiday let, best in Southwold!"

Super comfy bed. Great views from all aspects, kitchen well equipped. 10/10

  • "Stunning property, in a great location."

Very well equipped especially the kitchen with nice options of glasses and tableware. All bedrooms were very comfortable and suited our needs. It was great to have the first floor living room with amazing views out towards the sea. The only minor criticism would be that the floors are due a better clean, as there is a lot of dust buildup under beds and sofas, which we probably wouldn’t have noticed, but with small children dropping toys etc, we noticed this quite a lot. We think the first floor lounge could do with a deep clean on the floor. Also we couldn’t find a folder with the leaving instructions on and the WiFi password was not easy to find but was on a shelf in the kitchen. All in all we would definitely stay here again, as it’s a lovely property.

  • "The most amazing stay in the history of stays ever."

One thousand times would return. The hosts thought of literally everything; we wanted for absolutely nothing. Cannot praise enough!

  • "Fantastic property in a great location."

We appreciated the welcome pack and toiletries, thank you. The very limited clothes storage facilities in the small en suite room was a bit inadequate, but this did not spoil our stay. Another small issue was a blood stain on the duvet cover in the other small front double room. We had a fabulous week, and would stay again!

  • "Beautifully appointed stunning house, our second visit , as a family we love it and will be back next year."

Only criticism is minor , but there was a lack of information about the Wi-Fi , the house notes just said “find the router for the password” , rather than just listing it…. We eventually found a small card on the window sill in the kitchen with the details , I had called the contact number and the chap I spoke to said a few people have had the same problem , I never managed to find the router but did update house notes to reflect where the card containing the password was….. that process took a day to locate ….. it didn’t need to be that complicated.

  • "I think I have said this before - it would have been useful to know that the bins were to be emptied by private contractors on the morning of departure so we were not worrying about the amount of rubbish we had accumulated."

Otherwise a beautiful house with everything you could have wanted.

  • "Fantastic property booked before we left for next year (that will be our 3rd stay) ."

Best property in Southwold for rent, homely yet spacious. More signage need with regards parking for Harriet’s cottage as tenant constantly blocked our car in, not normally a problem as don’t tend to use our car but we had family visiting on different days that needed collecting from Darsham station.

  • "The walls in the downstairs toilet and upstairs bathroom were in need of cleaning."

There were lots of drip marks that made these look unclean. In addition, the grout in the shower nearest the side room is really dirty. It either needs a good clean or replacing as it makes the shower feel really unclean.

  • "We always love staying at 28 South Green."

Fantastic property that has everything you need and more. Not sure about the blue paint job outside though :)

  • "This is a lovely property - very well equipped but I have left a message re cleaning the extractor filters on the hob/aga - i tried but could not do it thoroughly."

The AGA wasn’t working , i think because of a power cut, the solution was to switch off at the mains switch and reboot. The instructions in the house are therefore not up to date! We couldn’t use the AGA which was disappointing.
