  • "Spacious and comfortable with most things you would need for a holiday."

Only thing to let it down was the noise from upstairs and to some extent next door. There needs to be some sound proofing Wine was a nice gesture but would have preferred a few basics such as tea ,coffee ,sugar etc so we didn't need to go shopping on arrival. Had a great holiday and Spindrift was one of the best places we have stayed in Southwold .

  • "The WiFi log in details in the welcome book are wrong."

I looked on the router for the correct details. Also the bathroom pictures on the Sykes app are from another property. Bit tricky getting in the main front door as I thought the big key was required. Took 5 minutes wrestling with the lock and ringing the bells before I realised. Other than this the flat was lovely.

  • "Very clean."

Very up to date with good appliances. Very good pisition for town and beach. Quiet but we were out of season.

  • "Very comfortable apartment, and the wine and biscuits were a treat - thank you."

Grateful also for being allowed to operate the CH and the bathroom heating. I tried to be careful with both. Just two issues - no batteries in the DVD player remote control. And the radiator in the living room is leaking at the thermostat. Had a wonderful holiday with my little dog, walking the footpaths around Southwold, Walberswick and towards Dunwich. Came across three firsts - a Chinese Water Deer, a weasel, and the boom of a number of bittern hidden in the reeds. Oh, and some delicious hot smoked mackerel from the fishmonger in the harbour. Then coming back to such a comfortable flat. Really enjoyable.

  • "Very comfortable, warm, welcoming, clean and attractive ( nice bits of art work)."

It is spacious too. Details such as floor heating in bathroom and wine provided on arrival were much appreciated .And the location is perfect, a few minutes walk to the beach and the shops. We ve been twice!

  • "This was a lovely property and spacious for a two person/one bedroom holiday let."

My only negative comment is the fact that this property comes up when you filter your search criteria on 'open fire'. I know that in the property detail it says that the fireplace isn't a working one but I think it's misleading to say that it has an open fire - I would imagine most people would read that as it to be a working, open fireplace.

Thank you for your feedback, most welcome. We have spoken to Best of Suffolk and asked them to amend. Property Owner

  • "Flat was clean and well equipped."

Ideally situated for beach front and town. Couldn't find clock radio but that wasn't a problem.

  • "This holiday home is excellent."

Clean, spacious, well equipped, warm ( in the out of season months) and I loved all the art work around the place. The bed was very comfortable too. The towel heater in the bathroom was a plus feature.
