  • "Overall, a good base to stay in Southwold."

Great space, clean and tidy with everything we needed in the property. Unfortunately, the WC in the master suite took about 30 minutes to refill so that was a nuisance. The air con in the games room wouldn't run and we couldn't get it to work, so we didn't use that space. The bin situation is UNBELIEVABLY TERRIBLE for a holiday let catering for so many people and almost Third World-ish. On arrival, there was no black bin and the blue and green regular bins and double commercial style bin outside, were absolutely rammed to the top with every kind of waste, so we resorted to taking our rubbish into town. There were/are 2 foot high weeds outside the house on the pavement, which could surely have been removed by the Landlord rather than hoping the Council will do it!

  • "Great location , five mins from town centre and beach."

Everything worked! Street parking was good. A very good place to stay for 10 people in a beautiful town with all amenities.

  • "An excellent property for a group of up to 10 guests with plenty of space including an excellent second floor balcony and a huge sitting room on the ground floor."

The bedrooms were spacious and the place was exceptionally clean and well-equipped. It is a short walk to all the local pubs and restaurants and apart from the garage for one car, we could normally park other cars close to the place. The only improvements we would suggest are that the water in one of the top floor showers (twin room) did not get warm enough and there were conflicting instructions about some aspects of checking out in the manual and the email we received. Overall it was excellent and we'd recommend it strongly.

  • "Our second stay within six months - it’s that good."

Light, bright and comfortable. Quality furnishings and a comprehensively equipped kitchen.

  • "A lovely property with everything you need for a holiday."

Had been concerned it might not be warm but all areas were warm and cosy. Garage a real bonus as street parking very limited. Couple of bulbs gone and no outside light although maybe we just didn’t find the switch!. It might be helpful to leave a form or book in the property where breakages etc could be noted and rectified if appropriate

  • "Everything was great except it was tricky to get the heat of the property balanced."

There are a number of thermostats but still didn't quite do the job! We decided that if we had been staying longer we might have cracked it?!?! One guest had difficulty in making her shower hot and getting the towel rail to heat. This was the third floor shower room which is used by the twin room. A low table in front of the TV on the second floor would be great for nibbles and glasses. A snooker/ football table for entertainment would be great.

  • "We have had a wonderful weekend in Southwold and this accommodation was perfect for our 2 families to relax and enjoy, it was very spacious clean, and everything we expected, we would recommend and also return ourselves!"

  • "A really excellent property - spacious, bright, sparkling clean and beautifully furnished."

The kitchen had all the equipment and utensils you could possibly want. The listing doesn't make clear that the kitchen and principal lounge are on the first floor which was something of a surprise, but not at all a problem. It is set in a quiet part of town just three minutes walk from the High Street with all its attractions. There is a garage for one car and unrestricted on-street parking for others. Strangely the wifi password was hidden away - we finally found it it, quite by chance, taped to the side of a kitchen unit on the third floor!
