"Couldn't fault it!"
Very comfortable everything you could need provided. Setting very relaxing and refreshing. In fact a most enjoyable holiday. Following a stressful time for two months previous it was just the perfect place to relax and refresh. Even the weather was superb !! We would love to go back and repeat the experience especially now we know where it is !

"We enjoyed our short stay at Ivy House Barn."
It was very clean and comfortable and located in a nice quiet area.

"Very nice cottage we'll equipped, lovely garden."
Only complaint is complete lack of any information ie. Nothing about nearest doctors, vets, local shops, dog walks, places to eat or visit. Also no information on how to get central heating on if needed (in this wonderful summer) or how to operate TV which is totally different to any tv we have used. Also no information regarding recycling which does vary across the country.
Hi - There is information on doctors etc. in the welcome pack we sent out, sorry that was insufficient. We are next door, and we did chat so are always on hand to help with the TV or eating! :) Property Owner

"For us the property was perfect and ticked all our boxes."
We had a dog and the walks around the area were plentiful. A microwave would have been a welcome addition. as would a heat resistant glove for those such as ourselves who lit the wood burner. We look forward to our next visit
Thanks- we have added a microwave :) Property Owner

"We found it a bit too remote and would have enjoyed it much more during lighter evenings"

"A great place to stay."
Very comfortable with plenty of space and well equipped for two people. A great large private garden and comfortable furniture through out. Plenty of storage space for clothes and food in the kitchen area. Very quiet and well situated. The conservatory is excellent as well as the out door seating. Sykes website states that a microwave is suppled but it is not. The only small downside is that the bed is very creaky and impossible to get out of during the night without waking your partner. Would also have preferred a lighter quilt for the summer.

"A perfect rural retreat."
The conservatory and garden a real bonus. The size and comfort of the cottage exceptional.

"The property was a lovely surprise when we first walked in."
We thoroughly enjoyed staying there and the owner was there to greet us and show us around. We were lucky with the weather; when we got home it was pouring with rain! It may help other holiday makers if there was a welcome pack available, and perhaps some information on where to go and what to see in the surrounding area. Otherwise, most enjoyable.

"Very welcoming on arrival and available throughout."
Would have appreciated a microwave and a hairdryer but this was not a major issue. Overall a great holiday. Sorry we didn’t have time to finish the jigsaw! Good quality ones always take longer.

"A lovely cottage for two people Clean and tidy with more than enough furnature anf facilities."
Lovely big garden fulll of flowers, shrubs and trees. Our little dog loved it. Patio with table and chairs and all the room that you would need.

"The owners live next door to the Barn and welcomed us on arrival."
We are both elderly and they helped us in with our luggage, food and things I thought we might need. How wrong I was; everything you can possibly need is provided in a house that is immaculately clean and beautifully furnished, including flowers from the lovely garden that can be enjoyed from either the patio or sun room, according to weather. Logs were provided for the wood burner which they lit for us when the temperature dropped. They were unobtrusive but ready to help, if required. We cannot recommend this property highly enough.
