  • "A fabulous barn in a beautiful setting."

We last came here in 2020 and it’s still as beautiful four years on. Don’t hesitate to book here.

  • "In a quiet countryside position but close to drive to local areas of interest."

The barn is very spacious, comfortable and clean. We would like to come back for another stay here and would recommend to everyone. The host is very helpful if you need anything and kindly left us wine and cake!

  • "The property is one of the best we have stayed in."

Pure luxury in lovely countryside with excellent off road parking for more than the 3 cars we had in our group of 3 elderly couples. Everything in Looms Barn is top quality and there is a full range of kitchen equipment and tools. It's just like a permanent home with all the comforts. One minor frustration was the technology installed which us oldies found challenging. Despite there being instructions provided for all the high-end appliances and the sky connected TV we experienced problems using them. We needed to have a 14 year old with us to sort it. Even the lighting is electronically controlled with a panel of buttons on each wall to control the lights rather that simple switches. I hasten tto add, this is not a criticism because most of us are more than 80 years old and we have not kept up with technology. We had a most enjoyable holiday in mixed weather and got out each day to various places of interest. Those like us who are interested in history must visit Sutton Hoo to be reminded of how advanced the Anglo-Saxons were in manufacturing techniques and the burial mounds.. Woodbridge is a nice town 15 minutes away by car with some interesting small shops. The ladies were pleased to find M &S Food and a large Tesco a short drive away. We ate and drank well.

  • "Superb property."

My wife and 2 other couples have been taking holidays together for 20 years or so, but Looms Barn is one of the top two we’ve ever used. So spacious, quiet, well maintained and superbly kitted out. Brilliant property.

  • "Fantastic property which was perfect for a special family gathering."

The weather was extremely cold, but the house with underfloor heating was just right for the three generations that were there.

  • "A really fabulous and very spacious property in a lovely quiet location, but only 3 miles from Woodbridge."

Also great for cyclists and runners as it's situated on a network of designated 'quiet lanes'. The barn renovation has been renovated so tastefully and luxuriously. It was an added bonus that it has been designed to be accessible for those with mobility issues / wheelchair users. A lovely garden too. We would love to return in summer.

The barn is beautifully equipped and maintained and is very comfortably furnished. The gardens and courtyard are super. The area is peaceful and the scenery is lovely. All in all it's a great place to stay. Would highly recommend.

Good to arrive and find lots of the basics provided for us, along with a delicious chocolate cake. Situated in a quiet location in large grounds, we wished we had booked for longer and would love to come back.

  • "Absolutely beautiful setting and property for our short break with four friends."

Although in a seemingly remote setting lots of lovely places are in easy reach. We managed Orford, Aldeburgh and Dedham Vale as well as Woodbridge. The quiet location meant there was lots of wildlife and we were lucky enough to see hares in the garden. Thanks to Alison for the welcome pack. Would love to have a second visit.

  • "This barn conversion was truly amazing."

The one large open space for the kitchen, dining, lounge and what I would call the bright reading area was marvellous, and for just six people! Three double bedrooms each with large ensuites. Everywhere well stocked with quality fittings, beautifully clean. Drive through gates to a well maintained gravel parking area, then walk through a lovely stone courtyard. Surrounded by well kept patios and grass. Deep into the countryside, extremely peaceful but with plenty of villages and place to visit in easy reach.
