  • "The house was very comfortable and clean, and very well equipped as a holiday let, with everything we could possibly need (except a steamer which the delightful owner has told me she will now provide)."

    Perhaps she might also provide instruction manuals for the various appliances and the heating system. Your description does need a small amendment as we found it difficult to park two SMALL cars (Honda Jazzes) on the driveway without protruding on to the road. The estate rules are very strict! It was a lovely house for our family get-together, with kind and thoughtful touches for our toddler grandson. We found Elmer a bit strange though, as for a seaside place it was actually quite difficult to see the sea, so much of it being private estates, with no public road down to the beach. There were plenty of interesting places to visit nearby though, with useful information in the house.
