  • "This quaint little property in the heart of the Kent countryside is absolutely stunning, from the welcome from the hosts, their helpfulness, accommodating us visiting and feeding the alpacas, to the actual property itself which is amazing."

The little touch of providing us fresh eggs from their chickens for our arrival was lovely, and the hot tub was such a nice option and helped us have a lovely relaxing weekend away. Brilliant property, fantastic hosts, great value for money. Had such a lovely weekend away, we will definitely be back.

  • "We had a pleasant stay at The Little Acorns ."

..on reflection maybe a few tweaks would help, for instance supplying robes for the hot tub and hooks outside the building would help, improving the outside area a little for example new garden furniture ect, inside was fine maybe perhaps checking the cooking utensils closely ie one of the pans had what looked like poached eggs burnt at the bottom however the kitchen was clean overall , the settee was a little uncomfortable it felt it had no spring support at the bottom, the bed was ok, the bathroom bright and clean but no toiletry space the owners were very nice and friendly and made us welcome...

  • "This property is wonderful."

well appointed and extremely comfortable. Everything was to our liking except the access to the hot tub.. We should have noticed from the pictures that there was no hand rail which of course to younger folk would not have been a problem. However, we are in our mid/late 70's and made us feel very vulnerable. We did manage to get our selves in and out (not a pretty sight, sense of humour need.) most enjoyable! The welcome pack was thoughtful, Thank you K&D and having our drinks in the sun watching the fish were very pleasant. As stated a wonderful venue.

thank you for your feed back we will take that on board Property Owner

Tiktok.com/ZGe7goyYt/ Beautiful property, a great size for a couple including the outside area. Everything you could need in your property, cosy, very comfortable bed, breakfast bar and all you’d need in a kitchen. The pond was a lovely idea to include in your space and it was very peaceful sitting listening to the water whilst enjoying the amazing hot tub! Great location, not far from Hailsham, Herstmonceux Castle, Polegate and Eastbourne coast and Beachy Head! The owners thought of everything and being able to go and see and feed the Alpacas was a nice touch, too. Easy to retrieve the keys and the property was private l, also. Absolutely will visit again!

The property

The Little Acorns, boasting a wonderfully unique setting, resting in Stunts Green, East Sussex is a detached studio that adjoins an alpaca farm.

Guests get to see these endearing creatures as they come and go each day, together with roaming ducks and chickens; that’s not something you get to see every day!

Perfect for a romantic hideaway, the studio is set within six acres of farmland which visitors can enjoy a stroll in and meet and greet the 20 resident alpacas.

Standing within private gardens which include an enclosed patio area, a delightful pond which is filled with koi fish and a hot tub as well as plenty of patio furniture.

You can imagine spending a lot of time out here, soaking up the idyllic surroundings, watching the fish in the pond, looking out for alpacas and other creatures and enjoying a wonderful dip in the hot tub.

Come rain or shine, the guests can enjoy the peace and quiet of this stunning setting while chilling out in the hot tub.

Once you’ve had a relaxing wallow, you can step inside through the French doors and enter the small but perfectly formed space which has been completed to an incredibly high standard.

There is a sofa and armchair positioned in front of a Smart TV where you can imagine curling up and enjoying spending quality time together, and when you get hungry, the kitchen is more than adequately fitted with a range of facilities to make sure you can create delicious food for your loved one.

Enjoy a snack together at the breakfast bar or try a romantic dinner for two at the dining table and chairs, or if the sun is shining, take your meal outside and enjoy some drinking and dining alfresco style.

Come bedtime and the gorgeously appointed king bed is just waiting to be sunk into before looking forward to another day in paradise.

The Little Acorns is a wonderful base from which to explore this delightful part of the world, so if you can tear yourself away from the alpacas, it’s worth getting out and about exploring.

Take a visit into Hailsham which has a great selection of shops and eateries with towns such as Eastbourne with its beach and pier and Hastings with its castle ruins, museum and art gallery, both worth a visit.

Hastings Country Park and the 14 mile Cuckoo Trail which is suitable for walkers and cyclists, both boast some impressive views along the way.

Herstmonceux Castle is also well worth a visit.

The Little Acorns is a little studio with big ideas, offering guests a beautiful spot to enjoy a romantic getaway.
