Loved staying here its amazing just a bit upset at someone coming into the property when daughter was there on her own don't think anyone should be going in when it's let out for the week

Thank you for your feedback. We're delighted you enjoyed your stay at Arden House. We have looked into your comment about someone coming to the house during your stay. We have checked with our cleaner, all of our regular tradespeople and also reviewed the security camera footage from your stay and can reassure you that there is no evidence of someone coming to the house during the week. We would only allow a tradesperson to attend the property during a guests' stay with their prior consent. You were great guests to have at the house and we look forward to hopefully welcoming you again in the future. Property Owner

  • "This is a fantastic property, big in size, spacious rooms, enough bathrooms, large fully equipped kitchen."

Two living rooms with TVs (and Streaming service connections), Alexa in every room, rooms very nicely decorated, towels, soap in baths, a lot of detailed planning and fully equipped house. Enough space in backyard for sitting out or kids to play. We had a great time and we would highly recommend to others.

  • "The house was lovely, clean and very comfortable."

It did not disappoint as a place to stay. Plenty of room (and rooms!) and all of the facilities worked fine except for the washer. We specifically booked this so we could do laundry. The washing machine started leaking after 1 wash. Nothing was coming out of the front of the washer, so it had to be a hose or something in the back. We notified the caretaker and they said they sent someone in the second day of our stay while we were out. When I called later, they said they couldn't find anything wrong, but not to use the washer. I don't think anyone came to look at it, because the washer was framed in and you could tell no one had tried to take it off, because paint was still sticking it all together and had not been disturbed. This was extremely disappointing for 8 people.

Thank you for your feedback. We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay at Arden House. We are sorry about the inconvenience caused by the washing machine leaking during your stay and, therefore, being unable to use it. We have never had a problem with it before. When we were told about the problem by the caretaker the morning after your arrival, we immediately arranged for our local plumber to come to the house that day which he did. He informed us that the washing machine was beyond repair and we have now arranged for a brand new machine to be installed this week. Unfortunately due to the fact that you were staying only for 2 nights we could not have a new machine supplied and fitted in that time. If you incurred any costs using the local laundrette we would happily reimburse you. Apologies again. Property Owner
