  • "I never had such a wonderful experience before."

The cottage is absolutely lovely, cosy and so clean, that even a bit picky person like me loved it! ;) Really, I had an absolute pleasant stay and I thank the owner for the outstanding time. The cottage has everything you may need and the map with all informations round about the house and the environment was very funny and kindly written. Combined with the warmth welcome that was given with cookies and milk, you also feel absolutely welcome. You found everything you may need in a week like salt, sugar, tea, cleaning supplies, garbage bags, and many more. Thank you so much, I will defenitely return if it's possible! <3 Dinah

Hi Dinah, Thank you for your lovely message, we’re glad you enjoyed your time at Kerrowdown. It’s not possible to please all the people all of the time so we’re glad we got it right for you. We would welcome you back anytime you’re in the Highlands. Thank you Marie & Stuart Property Owner

  • "Perfect little cottage!"

! Had a few nights here but wish was longer. Well equipped kitchen, shower was very powerful, loads of storage space in the bedroom. Perfect base to explore the area, loved the leaflets about the local area these gave us ideas of what to do. Lovely views from outside area. Would stay again if travelling to the area. Negatives-sorry feel very picky saying these things. Bigger bed needed, bedroom would easily would accommodate a king/super kingside bed. Cottage generally spotlessly clean but noticed a couple of cobwebs and when stripped bedding noted a stain on the mattress protector. Outside area is shared but appeared messy, backed onto garages which were cluttered and untidy with things like broken furniture.

  • "The main problem (as highlighted by previous tenants) was the 'mobile' toilet seat."

The hinges were quite damaged and it made for a precarious ride! This really does need attention as somebody could have a serious accident. The wet-room floor became quite slippery during use, but fortunately we had taken our own bath mats due to previous problems at other properties. The position and facilities were otherwise very good, and we enjoyed our stay.

  • "The cottage was excellent could not fault it very comfortable and well equipped and stylish the grounds where a little untidy ."

Lots of weeds and unattended plant pot but other than that exceptional.

Thank you so much for your feedback we do appreciate all our guests thoughts. We are very happy that you found the house comfortable and you had everything you needed for your stay. The courtyard area is jointly owned by all the cottages and therefore not always easy to manage, but it’s a work in progress Property Owner

  • "The property itself was very well presented."

Very clean, comfortable and just like a home from home. The property was ideally located for visiting all the points of interest to the local area. The only negative was the outside area of the property which could have done with a little TLC. Would certainly use again.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review it's much appreciated. We are pleased you found the property comfortable and felt at home, always good to know that your guests are able to relax and have what they need for their stay. unfortunately the area you are referring to does not belong to us. We are very pleased you would use us again....we look forward to a future booking. Property Owner

  • "An excellent apartment with everything you could need."

It is modern and extremely clean. Unfortunately there was no running water for our first 24 hours due to a problem on the mains to the apartment which was absolutely of no fault of the owner who kept us informed of all the developments throughout and had bottled water delivered. I would suggest an outside light be fitted to the rear patio doors area. Also a maybe a mat in the kitchen floor which appeared a little uneven for my wife who has poor mobility. In all we loved our stay with our dog and would stay again
