Nix & Ben are great hosts, there if you need some tips and advice plus suggestions of some hidden gems, but also leave you alone to enjoy the house! Great location to explore the highlands!

"Redburn Steading exceeded all our expectations, the photographs really do not do it justice!"
Nix and Ben contacted us before we left home to make sure we had all the information we needed for our journey, and from the minute we arrived the place felt like a welcoming home from home.
The property was spotlessly clean throughout, and the kitchen was so well equipped that I had no difficulty rustling up a full (early, I know) Christmas dinner for the family! The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and the beds comfortable. We took full advantage of the information pack and the range of guides and maps to visit many of the beautiful places nearby - Findhorn was a real favourite.
We would recommend Redburn Steading to anyone and would book to stay again if we decide to return to the area.

"We absolutely loved Redburn Steading, from the moment we walked in the place felt cosy and homely."
The property was spotlessly clean and Nix and Ben clearly care not just about the property itself but also ensuring that whoever stays feels welcome, so many little personal touches and considerations which we really appreciated. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds are comfortable and the location is ideal for access to main routes to the coast and the Highlands. They also provide a wealth of information about the local area, places to visit and the visitor pack has everything you need. We have no hesitation in recommending Redburn Steading.

"Ben and Nix are wonderful hosts."
They welcomed us and accommodated our last minute booking, following a holiday nightmare with the first cottage we'd booked and planned to stay in. This turned out to be a fortunate twist otherwise we'd not have found this fantastic place.
The steading is cosy, and has everything you need to make your holiday relaxing and a home from home.
We are keen birdwatchers and nature lovers and saw lots of different birds around the cottage, and a red squirrel who visited a few times.
The cottage is in a great position for visiting historical sites, beaches and walks through endless local forests.
We loved the absolute peace and quiet, and will be back at some point in the future.

"Had a wonderful stay at Redburn Steading."
The cottage is very spacious, clean, well maintained and had all the facilities/equipment you need for a great holiday.
Location is very peaceful with some lovely walks from the cottage and you are not too far from lots of great places to visit.
Ben and Nix were great hosts. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay in this area.

"This cottage truly blew me away, the pictures do not do the property justice."
Everything is as it looks but there is so much space that even with seven people for dinner one evening it wasn't crowded.
The standard of the facilities are excellent as is all of the expected equipment in the very well kitted out kitchen.

"The property is absolutely beautiful and is everything you could want for a holiday."
Whether you are looking for a peaceful retreat or a base to explore, this place caters for everyone. The hosts are really friendly but not intrusive, you feel completely left alone but know that they are on hand should you need anything. If we were heading to the same area again we wouldn't hesitate to book again, everyone in our party loved staying here.

"It was a beautiful house."
My only negative comment was the garden was not enclosed for the dog I would hasten to add that no claim was made in the description that it was secure but my dog would be liable to go to anyone even on the owner's property when seen or cross the road to see any other dog whether accompanied in the garden or not. For that reason only I thinknit is unlikely we would return. The owners were very friendly and welcoming.

"Redburn Steading is a very comfortable house in a good location."
The house is spacious and has all the amenities you could want for an enjoyable holiday including a very useful Welcome Tray. There are many interesting places to visit within a a short drive including Nairn's lovely beaches and the nearby towns and villages. The Landmark Adventure Centre is a really good day out and the beach at Roseisle is wonderful. The friendly owners, Ben and Nix, are available to give advice on local attractions although there is comprehensive information in the house about places of interest and a wide variety of activities. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property.

"The house is fantastic with all the comforts of home."
It is larger than it reads in the ad and is very well maintained and spotlessly clean.
The thing that sets it apart is all the small things that were already there on our arrival....ground coffee, tea and biscuits, dog towels, bowls and much more. It left us knowing that the owner thought about making our stay better without looking for a saving of a few quid. Something that is mostly missing from short term rentals.
I was unable to find fault. Thank you.

"This holiday home is like home from home, it has everything and more to make your stay welcoming and comfortable."
Right from the lovely welcome pack that’s left for your arrival and the fact that Nix & Ben go the extra mile by emailing before your stay with a milk choice. We even had a text on the way up to check on our journey with advice on a route as there had been an accident. Also, leaving the porch light on for us on our late arrival. There is a lovely detailed manual with all history of the property, about the owners, advice, routes and a whole lot more. We met Nix who was absolutely lovely and was on hand in the house adjacent if we needed. The house is situated in a beautiful setting with lovely walks around, which we made the most of. The location is perfect in every way. We had the most wonderful family holiday and would love to return one day.

Lots of information provided by the owners on local walking and cycling routes etc and a great selection of leaflets on places to visit and thing to do. We could not fault anything. We have stayed a many property rentals and this one is at the top of the list. It was very well equipped, clean and spacious and very peaceful. The location was excellent as it was an area we hadn’t visited before but certainly with a vehicle we were able to explore the wider area. Lovely walks right on your door step which our dog loved. Also great for cycling, spending time on wonderful beeches or visiting Places of interest and we did a lot of exploring. A very relaxing week. Highly recommend this property.

Lots of space and everything in very good condition. Bed in downstairs bedroom was very comfortable and we enjoyed the choice of sitting in the livingroom or in the sunroom. Wifi was a bit variable. The welcome pack was much appreciated. Lots of outdoor space too.

The kitchen was well set up for cooking and had everything we needed to cook family meals. The hosts were incredibly helpful with ideas for walks (suitable for our ability) and places to visit. We even had surprise Easter eggs waiting our arrival! A great house with loads to do nearby for families! We had a great week.

The kitchen is well equipped for home cooking, and Ben kindly checked in from time to time to make sure everything was good…which it was!

The owners left us a lovely welcome card and gifts and came over to ensure we were all well and wished us safe travels when we left, lovely people. Would definitely stay again, loved every minute of our holiday here.

"It's an (aspirational) home from home, perfectly located in the countryside, close to excellent biking, walking routes or simply sitting on the garden bench and gazing at the ever changing wonderful scenery - with a drink."
A wonderful place to reflect and or be active.
The house is larger than it looks in the photographs, plenty of space to spread out. The down stairs double/twin bedroom is wheelchair accessible and ideal for guests not comfortable with stairs.
We had our holiday's food supplies delivered to the house by one of the local supermarkets (Tescos, Sainsbury, Asda), so we could focus on optimising our time on holiday.
Nick and Ben are excellent hosts, giving us a warm welcome - nothing was too much trouble. It was nice they live a short walk away, as when we had a query or had post being delivered (while we were out) they helped us out.
Forres is a 20 minute drive away. Definitely recommendable.
