  • "The property is very spacious, with gorgeous views across the sea to the islands."

It was very comfortable and we had everything we needed for a self catering holiday. It's in a great location also, only a 10 minute walk to Mallaig and also close to the beautiful beaches in the area, a short drive away. We had a problem with the boiler, which was quickly dealt with by the owners. Melanie also made sure we had everything we needed during storm Ashley, in case of power failure. We would definitely stay again.

  • "We had a great week staying here, using the house as a base to explore the area and nearby islands."

The house is within walking distance of Mallaig for access to the ferries and the local shops and restaurants. The photos of the properties on the listing don't do it justice. It is large, modern and comfortable with amazing views over to the islands. Thank you.

  • "Dunira was clean and very comfortable and we all really enjoyed our time there."

The views over to Eigg and Rum were amazing. The kitchen was very well supplied with crockery and utensils and the beds were very comfortable.

  • "We had a lovely stay in the property."

Thank you for the welcome box. The enclosed garden is great for the dogs. Everything we needed for our stay was there and the view of the islands is lovely.

  • "Having rented a few holiday cottages over the years, this one has surpassed them all."

It has everything: great accommodation, spacious garden, heating, full of crockery and linen if needed, very clean and comfortable throughout. This is the best provisioned cottage I’ve ever had the pleasure of renting. The host is friendly and attentive and checked with us that all was well. All this is set in beautiful surroundings. If you get five star cottages, this is the one! I can’t recommend it highly enough.
