  • "Really impressed with the stay."

Great host and beautiful house and surroundings 10/10

  • "Absolutely first rate and probably the best holiday house we have ever rented."

The house is beautiful and filled with nice touches and lovely furniture. The grounds are secluded and have a great fire pit and dining area. Bruce goes out of his way to make sure that your holiday is enjoyable and that you have everything you need. We will - without a doubt - be back.

  • "It was a perfect hideaway on a real Island."

The ‘grand’ and beautiful modern house is perfect in every way. With a lovely garden and a striking view. A well equipped kitchen and many bathrooms. Everything is as it should be. Nature is overwhelming and the beaches are stunning and everywhere. We would recommend it to everyone. We were only with the 2 of us, which was great. But the house can also easily accommodate a whole family and you will still have space enough to find your own space. We had a perfect stay. And will remember our time on North Uist as a very special one.

  • "Amazing location next to incredible walks and bike rides."

Breathtaking beaches right beside the property, and watching the tide come in and out with panoramic views from the house is spectacular. Plenty of living space, laundry and drying area great. Underfloor heating so the house is toasty. Kitchen is very well equipped and spacious. Great for large parties, with the only drawback being noise - it would benefit from soft furnishings or ‘acoustic clouds’ to soak up the noise. The house is perfect for families and for groups of friends who are happy to share bedrooms if more than 8. We would highly recommend it!

  • "What can I say?"

We had the most amazing holiday here. The Isle of Ulst is remote, but wonderful. The beaches!! Honestly when we showed our friends pictures, they thought we were in the Caribbean! On to the house....we were 2 families together. The house is in a fantastic location (so tranquil) and was perfect for us. I really couldn't fault it. Very high standard finish, attention to detail and communication with Bruce was great. So helpful. Its a journey (we are from Cheshire!), but so worth it.
