Park Cottage is wonderfully appointed - the owners have taken such care to create a beautiful environment - spotlessly clean and with lovely facilities - it is a short drive from Lochmaddy and excellently situated for exploring the beautiful area - I will definitely be returning

  • "Park cottage is a beautiful, well-maintained property and was the ideal base for our family holiday."

The house is furnished to a high standard with a well-equipped, spacious kitchen with a good-sized dining table, comfy sofas in the lounge, and comfortable beds with good quality bed linen and towels in the bedrooms upstairs. Everything was impeccably clean and well-presented and the owner was great at communicating with us on the day we arrived and meeting us at the property to let us in when we got there. The location is truly fantastic with uninterrupted sweeping views across the peatland towards the hills to the North. We were sorry to leave at the end of our stay and will definitely return.

  • "Lovely place, very comfortable with all ustensiles needed for cooking."

Coffee capsules and tea bag provided. Good internet to work. It’s not emphasised enough in the ad but the view is amazing from any room and whatever the weather ! There is a community center and cafe just 15-20min walk where they have electric charger. Overall wonderful stay.

The property far exceeded our expectations and has been fitted out to a really high standard. The hosts Barry & Margaret met us at the property to show us around which was a lovely touch. They offered more hangars if required and were on hand for any questions we may have had. We will definitely be back :)

  • "We really enjoyed our stay at Park Cottage."

The interior of the house is beautiful and spotlessly clean. We spent a lot of time sitting on the stools by the kitchen window looking out at the wildlife. Lovely gift of local gin samples from the owners which we enjoyed during our stay.

Although the weather was not ideal we managed to go to many of the silver sanded beaches and one of our party swam every day! We saw lots of wildlife and the machair was beautiful.

Beautifully furnished to a high standard. Large well appointed kitchen with windows overlooking the countryside and sea lochs. Lots of wildlife can be seen from the house. Red deer, short-eared owls, hen harriers and constant skylark song. The friendly owners welcomed us and left us some local goodies as a bonus. Would definitely stay again.
