  • "Excellent property very clean and tidy."

Great views out to sea through front windows watching fishing boats and cargo ships. We were also fortunate and saw the dolphins on the way to the headland. Very comfortable and homely feel to cottage, only improvement would be a dishwasher.

  • "Had a fabulous week here."

Lovely spotlessly clean property. Directly opposite the beach which was a great bonus as the weather was gorgeous. Ideally situated and within east reach of A19. A visit to Hartlepool Marina is a must to check out the eateries. Would definitely stay here again

  • "This is the 3rd time we have stayed here we just love the comfort of the house and being able to enjoy the area and meet up with family and friend's."

We will be back for a longer stay next year as we are moving back to Hartlepool after being down south for 35 years and need to decide on which area we wish to live.

Many thanks to our Hosts for letting us have a fantastic time

  • "Beautiful house, beautifully decorated."

Everything you could need, and more, was provided. The owner also left a very lovely welcome pack, it was such a nice thing to do and much appreciated. Views from house incredible, especially watching and listening to the sea from bed!! Walks along the front so good. There is so much to see locally on the Headland, in Hartlepool, or short distance driving. RSPB, National Trust sites, Seaton Carew are just a few ideas. A big plus is the National museum of the Royal Navy. We would love to go back again

Thank you Lynn for sharing your experience with us! We appreciate your feedback and delighted to know you enjoyed your stay at the Beach House. We could not agree more! Headland, Hartlepool and Seaton Carew have so much to offer in terms of sightseeing. Beautiful sandy beaches offer many opportunities such as dog walking, collecting sea glass, sea coal and swimming. • "Our stay at 'The Beech House' was absolutely wonderful and comfortable."

The welcome pack left on the dining room table was a really lovely thought and very welcome. The owners of this property certainly take pride in every aspect of their property as it was so very clean & tidy and have lovely taste in the decoration. We found everything you could think of was provided to make ones holiday stress free & relaxing. We met the owner as we were leaving at the end of our stay, who was so very pleasant and informative. We hadn't been to Hartlepool before but we really liked the area and plan to return in the near future as there is so much we didn't get to see/visit as one week stay was just not long enough to cover it all. We highly recommend to everyone this property and area for a well earned vacation. Doug & Jo (Sept 23)

Thank you Doug & Jo for your positive and thoughtful feedback. We are happy to hear you loved your stay at the Beach House. Hartlepool, Seaton Carew and Headlands are beautiful places and have so much to offer. One can visit National Museum of Royal Navy, Heugh Battery Museum, birds and wildlife sanctuary RSPB at Saltburn and many more. Property Owner

  • "We had a great holiday here."

Comfy house all through, I slept amazingly well and I loved being on the front with such a great view out to sea. My only suggestion is a TV upstairs would be a nice addition to allow for different viewing tastes. We will definitely be returning.

  • "The Beach House, 7 Marine View is a great holiday house."

The house was spotlessly clean on our arrival and the equipment provided was excellent. We like to cook our own meals and there was every utensil you could ever need to cook and bake whatever you wanted. The furniture is very comfortable and the small back garden is a real sun trap. The proximity to the sea and beach is also a massive plus. We are walking the English coastal path in stages and will definitely stay here again, it is a perfect base to return to after a long days walking.

Thank you Suzanne very much for your positive feedback. We are delighted you enjoyed your stay and look forward to welcome you back again at the Beach House. With best wishes, Mike and Gulnaz Property Owner

Durham 18.1 miles; Saltburn-by-the-Sea 30 miles; Whitby 50.1 miles.

The coastal town of Hartlepool lies north of the Tees estuary, with the North York Moors to the south and the majestic cathedral town of Durham, a short drive to the North West. There has been huge investment in regeneration projects and Hartlepool now offers an award-winning marina, with associated trendy restaurants and bars overlooking stunning yachts and sea going cruisers. In the heart of the town there is a multiplex cinema, a health and fitness centre with swimming pool and Middleton Grange shopping centre, which is the third largest in the region, with a traditional market hall. Other attractions include the HMS Tricomalee - Nelson's last fighting frigate and the Heugh Battery Museum. Seaton Carew beach and its associated demanding golf course lies two miles down the coast and a short drive brings you to Saltholme RSPB Reserve, where seals and wading birds are regularly spotted. The more adventurous will be attracted to the impressive Teesside White Water Centre, whilst others may prefer a quiet walk along the Tees riverside walk. Beamish open air museum is within easy reach, near Durham city and well worth a day trip. Hartlepool provides a good base for those wishing to sample a novel corner of Britain, combining the beauty of the coastal waters with the rich industrial heritage of former times.
