    We were blessed with wonderful weather in September which lit up the apartment and was very warming. Our only minor comment was the absence of any hand soap which we are sure is easily resolved.

    Would help if bath mat for older people (to prevent slipping) and also a drying rack for dishes would be useful. Otherwise all that we needed.

  • "Lovely apartment, beautifully presented."

    Bed was super comfortable - slept like a log (Log walks and gin may have helped!) Equipped very well, with good quality kit. (One teeny moan - no egg cups!) Great base for touring the stunning area, so many places to visit. Suspect we'll be back as we really only scratched the surface!

  • "We had a very enjoyable stay at 2 Chews Cottage & found everything exactly as described."

    Very clean & comfortable & the small balcony/patio area has sun all afternoon & early evening. Excellent food at the Crown & the High Street has great shopping. We had no problem with parking, we always found a space nearby & further up the road there is plenty of parking. The only small negative comment would be that the entryway from the street & the stairwell area need a good sweep!

  • "Lack of private parking is an issue."

    I was lucky and managed to park opposite the property on all nights. The property was clean and well equipped. Well placed to visit the Dales. An enjoyable break.

    We understand that it could become frustrating to not be able to park outside the front door. However in our experience there is almost always a parking spot available opposite the property, so it should not become an issue often.     The apartment is warm and inviting. 10/10 for cleanliness and comfort. Pateley Bridge is a lovely place and it was so refreshing to visit during Winter when it was so quiet. Had an amazing Christmas lunch on Christmas Day at The Crown.

Continue through the property to the two delightful bedrooms, the first of which being the twin room, decorated with a neutral colour pattern and complimented by rustic wooden window boards, neighbouring a spacious king-size bedroom, housing a stunning Gothic-inspired wardrobe as well as a table and chair set, perfect to take perch and enjoy a good book as you unwind.

The charm of the property continues into the open-plan living space, magnificently decorated with contemporary furnishings including a chaise lounge for an added touch of luxury and flooded by natural lighting let in through the large windows, offering wonderful views of Pateley Bridge and the hills beyond.

Follow the side door hidden behind the dining table and head out to a small secluded patio area, fit with a wooden bench, where you can take a seat and enjoy a steaming cup of coffee ahead of another exciting day.
