"A beautiful cosy cottage with all the facilities you could need & a very short walk into town for food and shops."
-
"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wren Cottage in May."
Everything needed was provided for our stay, including cake and wine. A beautiful cottage with comfortable bed and lovely garden. The views from the bedroom were picturesque. Would most certainly stay again. We go to Yorkshire every year and this is one of the best we've stayed in.
-
"Excellent cottage in a great location We really enjoyed our stay at Wren Cottage."
The cottage was very clean and well-equipped with lovely views. We appreciated the cake and wine on arrival. We would highly recommend this cottage and would happily stay there again. Thanks for a great holiday.

"A lovely cottage in a pretty part of the UK - we really enjoyed our stay, the cottage had everything we needed to make us as comfortable as possible."
-
"This was our 3rd visit to Wren Cottage."
As with previous visits we were very happy with the cottage. Welcome gifts, clean accommodation, well equipped and then of course the gorgeous views.

"Wren Cottage is lovely."
There was cake, wine and some dog biscuits as a welcome which was nice. There was an issue with the cake which was resolved straight away by the owner. Contact with the owner was easy and detailed. The lane to the property is VERY narrow and anyone with a “wide” car would struggle to get up. The garden was well maintained and a lovely place to sit in and enjoy the sunshine in the afternoons. Pateley Bridge is a short stroll across the river. Loved our stay!

"Great cottage in a fantastic central location."
So easy to get to shops and pubs, and walks straight out the door. Perfect for our family of three.
-
"An excellent cottage, unbelievably well equipped."
The cake, wine and milk left for us by the owner was such a lovely touch, thank you. The views from the lounge across the hills were unbelievable and it was lovely to be able to walk into Pateley Bridge to enjoy a meal in the evenings. The owner was extremely helpful and friendly and I would highly recommend Wren Cottage. Unfortunately the same can't be said of Sykes who were supposed to send us a £40 discount code upon return to book a future holiday with them. Five weeks later, and after numerous phone calls to them, each time being promised it would be sorted, I'm still waiting. This is now the 4th holiday with them this year that I've had the same problem. Their Customer Service, if indeed it exists, needs a complete overhaul. How hard can it be to send me an email with the code? I am now waiting for 2 codes. Come on Sykes, sort yourselves out and give some customer satisfaction!!!

"The cottage is in a great location."
The views from the living room are fantastic. We both want to come back. A really lovely area to visit and Pateley Bridge is quite special.
-
"Wren Cottage is beautiful!"
It is situated in a lovely spot above Pateley Bridge but within easy reach of all amenities with many walks from the doorstep. Very clean with many additional extras.
-
"Really good cottage in generally a great location; two minor issues would be that it has a small building site behind it, but this did not impinge once we got indoors."
bigger/more towels might have been nice!
-
"The cottage is beautifully appointed, on the edge of the town and just a very short walk to the local amenities."
The garden, whilst not totally enclosed, is lovely. The lane up to the cottage is quite narrow. I would recommend this cottage.

"We had a great holiday in Wren Cottage."
It was very comfortable and fully equipped with all we could need. We took advantage of the two pubs in Pateley Bridge, the Royal Oak and Crown which both served delicious meals. Great location with many good walks in the area, including Brimham Rocks and Malham Cove not far away to name but two. Brilliant holiday!
-
"A lovely cottage in Pately Bridge, clean and with everything we needed."
The host called us personally to explain arrival arrangements and responded very quickly when the key broke (he sent the cleaner round with a spare). I can also recommend the garage at the bottom of the hill who were really helpful when we had some mechanical troubles with our car
-
"The cottage has everything you need and is ideally situated for some lovely walks."
Pateley Bridge is a lovely place and has a great little high street.
-
"Wren Cottage was excellent, well equipped, great location in pateley bridge, walks from the door and very comfortable and spacious."
Just the two of us and our dog, but plenty of space for 4. The garden is excellent and offers great views over pateley bridge- good for a glass of wine on a good day and seeing the stars the stars on a clear night!! The owners and the cleaner were very helpful - We loved it and will definitely be returning.

"We really enjoyed our stay in Wren Cottage."
The house was well equipped and everything we needed for a pleasant stay was available. The house was clean and smelt fresh, all the linen was excellent quality. My wife had broken her foot a few months ago, so she found the roadway at the side of the house too steep to walk down, but this did not interfere with our stay. Loved Pateley Bridge and nearby Grassington. A very happy week was spent at Wren Cottage and we would happily stay there again.
-
"Very nice cottage in an ideal location with great views from the garden."
Pateley Bridge within easy walking distance for shops, walking straight from the cottage or plenty of places to visit within the dales. Very nice helpful owners always on hand if we needed anything. Would certainly go back.
-
"We have used this cottage for 11 years of the 14 years we have visited Pateley Bridge for our annual week of fresh air."
Over those 3 years away we have had to use alternative cottages because it is a location that has become more popular and consequently good cottages are getting booked out very quickly. For us this has become a comfortable alternative to home for a week in a great part of the world.
-
"We are repeat visitors to this cottage as it ticks all the boxes - garden, close to shops and a pub yet still in the countryside with stunning views."
-
"Wren cottage was a lovely cottage, ideally situated for all amenities, with stunning views and walks."
We will definitely be looking at going back soon.
-
"Lovely cottage, warm and homely."
Great walks from the doorstep. Janet's Foss and Malham Cove a hours scenic drive away. Pateley Bridge is a town with two good pubs, teashops, butchers, fish and chip shop and galleries, all sampled and enjoyed. Cake and wine on arrival at Wrenn Cottage. A thoroughly enjoyable week.
-
"Had a lovely relaxing holiday."
Nice village, cottage very well equipped. Lovely walks on the doorstep. Welcoming pack from owners such a lovely touch. So dog friendly.
-
"The cottage was fantastic and had great views over Pateley Bridge."
It had all the facilities you could ever need. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Yorkshire.
-
"WE REALLY ENJOYED OUR STAY AT WREN COTTAGE WHICH WAS REALLY WELL FITTED OUT AND COMFORTABLE AND CLOSE TO PATELEY BRIDGE."
ONLY TWO PROBLEMS WERE STEEP STAIRS TO BEDROOMS WHICH WERE HARD TO CLIMB AND BATHROOM ON GROUND FLOOR WITH SMALL BATH WHICH CREATED PROBLEM WHEN NEEDED TO USE AT NIGHT!!
-
"Lovely holiday cottage, well kept, great views and genuinely high quality feels like a home."
-
"The cottage was beautifully presented, with quirky artwork and an open fire, as well as kitted out with lots of kitchen equipment and crockery."
The chocolate cake and wine on arrival put us in a very good mood for the a great week and the owner was very helpful both before and during our stay. The house was in a brilliant situation, with great views across the dale from the sitting room, the town centre only a few minutes walk away with competing local butchers with award winning pies meriting several visits from us. There are lots of good walks from the doorstep and lots of local dog-friendly eateries and pubs. Fantastic attractions such as Fountains Abbey and Brimham Rocks are a short drive away, with Nidderdale llama trekking a highlight of a memorable week. Thanks for a great holiday!
-

"Fantastic place."
Well equipped. Great location. Brilliant shower and comfortable bed. And the owners sorted us out when we managed to get our car locked in the car park in harrogate with the cottage keys inside. Can't recommend highly enough. Only wish we'd had 2 weeks.
-
"Ideal base for walking, cycling etc."
-
"Well kept and tastefully decorated cottage, great location on the outskirts of lovely Pateley Bridge."
Amazing local produce and great pubs/cafes/shops easily reached on foot.
-
"The cottage was perfect, very clean, great views, quiet, tastefully decorated and well equipped."
-
"Lovely well equipped cottage close to amenities in Pateley Bridge."
Lots of walks and beautiful scenery. Steep stairs in cottage and path down into Pateley Bridge may make it unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues.
-
"When cottage is lovely, My wife, our 8year old son, five year old daughter, myself and our Springer Spaniel enjoyed a week across the Christmas period."
As we drove into Pateley Bridge we we're dazzled by the wonderful Christmas lights in the high street. When we arrived at Wren Cottage there was a delicious chocolate cake and bottle of red wine on the kitchen table and a lovely little Christmas tree in the living room and enough coal for the fire. The beds we're so comfy it was like floating on air. Beautiful cottage and location, we'll definitely be returning.
-
"This cottage was very peaceful yet close to shops and the lovely small town of Pateley Bridge."
We walked every day and didn't really leave the valley and its slopes. Loads to see around and about.
