  • "Cottage was nice, cosy, clean goodies left were much appreciated and everything like home from home, hot tub great and relaxing after a nice walk, the only thing negative was the parking we had to park round a green but then had to walk backwards and forwards with our luggage for someone with walking difficulties would find hard so can't be outside or near property."

  • "Cottage was beautiful and just as described."

So welcoming, we felt relaxed as soon as we walked through the door. Welcome pack a lovely touch. Only issue we had was the bathroom light. Took us a while to figure out. But we managed. Short drive for a lovely stroll around Bedale on a lovely sunny day. Would totally recommend. Can see us visiting again in the future.

  • "Lovely cottage and we especially enjoyed the hot tub."

The cottage itself was cosy, was always warm and the beds were so comfortable. Our toddler was poorly the first night and the owners were great when I reached out to them and I managed to get new linen for the bed. The kitchen was lovely, had all the things you needed and we were left a lovely little welcome hamper of food and milk which was so helpful. Only thing I would suggest would be adding a larger frying or a sauté pan as the one there is quite small and not big enough to cook for a family of 4 in. Bedrooms were great, bathroom was perfect for our needs and the water pressure was fantastic. There was even shower gel provided and the towels were lovely and thick. I would recommend the cottage for a stay and the local town of Bedale has everything you’d need to stock up on.

  • "A wonderful property in a beautiful village."

The cottage was clean, warm, comfortable, cosy, fantastic! A really well presented spacious property. The hot tub was lovely and warm and secluded from neighbouring properties, a wonderful place to relax under the stars. We will definitely return for another visit.

  • "The cottage was wonderful and we had such a lovely time."

Other than a few maintenance jobs everything was perfect. The cottage was clean and in such a lovely area. The hot tub was a bonus. The only thing we would say was we struggled to keep the lid on the hot tub due to the wind and the clips being broken and the jets turned themselves on on several occasions but nothing that impacted on our weekend. Thank you.

  • "This is a lovely cosy little cottage in the heart of a small dales village."

We had an extremely comfortable stay, 3 adults and a dog. The hot tub in the garden was amazing. Equipped with everything you require. Lovely welcome hamper on arrival. I would highly recommend and we will definitely stay here again.

  • "Parking was a problem as we couldn't get very near the cottage, so unpacking and packing the car was difficult."

The shower screen leaked and water came through the kitchen ceiling on the first night. We reported it and it was dealt with the next day. Some items were missing in the kitchen - dishcloth, pan scrub, draining spoon, scales, pastry brush. The sofa facing the TV was uncomfortable. Warm and cosy though and we enjoyed the hot tub.
