Where you’ll be staying

GREAT OUSEBURN

Boroughbridge 5 miles; York 15 miles; Harrogate 15 miles.

The pretty village of Great Ouseburn lies between Harrogate and York, a few miles from Knaresborough, Boroughbridge, Ripon and Easingwold. Surrounded by the rural farmland of the Vale of York, Great Ouseburn is a sleepy little village, which is served by a traditional local inn and a village shop. Perfectly placed for exploring both Yorkshire’s beautiful Moors and Dales, Great Ouseburn is close to many attractions including the Fountains, Byland and Rievaulx Abbeys and the stately homes of Newby Hall and Castle Howard, famed for Brideshead Revisited.
