• "We had a lovely stay in the apartment."

  Great location, lovely rooms & well equipped. So handy for the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, which was really worth a visit. Near to pubs/restaurant, co-op & spa shop & Howarth centre too. Really enjoyed our short break.

• "Firstly we were shouted at by a ring doorbell "Can you park outside where your staying at " Very rude and unwelcoming !"

  ! The road was very steep to park on . Not very clean,smelt of curry when we arrived .Inside the cooker was very dirty ,no tea,washing up liquid or dishwasher tablets.Very small towels .Friend caught his foot on a nail on the stair runner.Very dirty behind the beds .Very steep stairs not good if you have mobility issues.Also paid more for this as booked for the 1940s weekend and price was increased but it was cancelled and we couldn't get a refund.After event was cancelled all prices on Sykes was reduced

• "Apartment is situated a short walk from the station."

  Further 10-15 min walk to the main street. Ideal location. There are some steep steps into the apartment but not a concern. Apartment was decorated nicely and was spacious. There were 6 of us staying and we had adequate room, just made sure there was a rota for the bathroom! Kitchen was a lovely size and very well equipped. Overall a really pleasant stay over the new year period. Only issue was the lack of blinds on windows, we all struggled to sleep once it was daylight. We would highly recommend but would be hesitant if any of us had mobility issues. Parking outside the apartment on a really steep hill but there are other places to park of needed.

• "Being a first floor property it wouldn't suit everyone but it worked perfectly for us."

  Great apartment, very spacious and fab decor! Great location too. Minor niggles of lack of handbook covering details of rubbish disposal etc and blinds needed in the double bedroom but wouldn't hesitate to recommend and return again. Many thanks.

• "The property was clean,comfortable snd we had a very good time there."

  It is very handy for the public transport, bus and Worth Valley RAILWAY. Two good shops near by. It would have been good to get some direction for things like whether to strip beds, where and when to leave rubbish as there was no instruction anywhere in the flat. The living room is nice and large and we found d it quite warm and comfortable. The kitchen is nice and Large and adequately stocked though there were only 2 of us. The bedrooms were comfortable but as others have pointed out really need blinds fitted on the skylight windows - at this time of year it was fine but in high summer with sun streaming in from4 o'clock it could be a problem. The very very low roofs made it a careful walk around the bedrooms. Similarly we had to be careful if going downstairs to the bathroom in the night due to the half step at the foot of the stairs but I left my torch out for that purpose. The front door step and immediate steep staircase mean it is worth saying that it isn't really suitable for anyone with a moderate mobility problem. For us though none of these issues were unmanageable and we still had a good time in a well located, perfectly fine property

• "The flat was lovely but a stay would be much improved by installing blinds on the velux windows especially in the double bedroom, with the two windows there was no respite from the light and sun from about 4."

  30 am meaning very disturbed nights sleep. As we ate in some dishes to serve food in would be handy too

  Thank you for your feedback and so sorry about the issue with the blinds and lack of sleep - we now taken action and have some new velux blinds on order and also will Purchase more Dishes to serve food too with - I al also glad you like the apartment too - thanks Property Owner

• "What a beautiful place and absolutely spotless, plenty of bedding and clean towels etc ."

  . Fully stocked with coffee and tea and biscuits… also the kitchen is fully equipped and stocked with cleaning materials. The owner can be easily contacted to deal with any additional queries, We would highly recommend as it’s the perfect place to stay and discover the beautiful Yorkshire dales! Not forgetting the Steam train in Haworth and the Brontë Museum that is just a stones throw away

• "This is a lovely property, really well presented, very clean, comfortable and spacious."

  It had everything we needed for our short stay away after Christmas. Thank you. We would definitely come back to it again and would recommend it to others. A couple of things to be aware of: For anyone taking a dog, there is no access to a garden to let them out first thing in the morning and late at night. Also the property is at the top of a steep side street so we chose not to park outside the property since it may have been tricky to turn back onto the main road from there. There were plenty of other places to park on the roadside nearby though. An information pack for the property would be useful with things such as where the laundry from our stay should be left, how to work the TV etc. Overall, we really liked Mill Hey and would go back again.
