"We loved our stay at Penny Cottage."
It has been sympathetically restored and modernised with beautiful furnishings making it so homely and inviting. We found the Haworth Old Hall pub to be friendly with tasty and reasonably priced food which was a 2-5 minute walk down the street. The old part of the village looked very pretty lit up with the Christmas decorations at night and the cottage was also similarly decorated as we stated in between Christmas and new year. We’d love to come back, maybe when the weather is a bit warmer!
Dear Nicola Thank you so much for your review, we are really happy that you enjoyed your stay and would warmly welcome you back again. Best wishes Alison and Colin Property Owner

"Penny Cottage is a brilliant place to stay in Haworth, it’s in an excellent location for shops, bars and restaurants."
We stayed on Christmas Eve for 4 nights, the cottage is spotlessly clean, very well equipped with everything you need and so cozy and homely. Alison and Colin were very helpful if you needed anything, and they made it so Christmassy and the festive treats were a lovely surprise. We definitely recommend and we will be back .
Dear Michele Thank you so much for your lovely review. We are so happy that you enjoyed Penny Cottage and Haworth. We hope you visit again Best wishes Alison & Colin Property Owner

About the location
HAWORTH
Skipton 13 miles; Hebden Bridge 8 miles.
The small village of Haworth was home to the famous Bronte sisters, who were inspired by the surrounding moorland to pen their novels, which have become classics of English Literature. Haworth is a village that time almost forgot, with its myriad of curiosity and antique shops, alleyways and cobbled streets creating a wonderful period atmosphere, all set against a framing backdrop of countryside famously described in the novel Wuthering Heights as wild, rugged and barren. Nearby, the famous Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, an authentic steam railway brought to prominence in the film The Railway Children, provides a lovely day out with a regular service to the old village of Oxenhope. The area abounds with popular places to visit, including the Bronte Parsonage Museum, East Riddlesden Hall, and the National Railway Museum in York. The market town of Skipton, often fondly regarded as the Gateway to the Yorkshire Dales, is just a short drive away, and also within reach are elegant Harrogate and vibrant Leeds and Manchester.
