  • "The location of the property was brilliant."

A five minute walk took you into the centre of the marketplace and the view up river from the front of the house was spectacular. The property was spotlessly clean and included everything needed for a comfortable and pleasant stay. On site parking next to the property was also a big plus in this very popular and busy town. Natalie's communication was excellent both before and during our stay and her welcoming pack was the best we have ever received. We would not hesitate to recommend the property and would definitely return if visiting Hebden Bridge again.

Thank you so much for your lovely feedback. We appreciate all the points you have highlighted and are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay at Avaelie House. We would welcome you back any time. Property Owner

  • "This is a great property with all that is needed for a holiday."

Everything was as described and the property was spotless. The bed is extremely comfortable. The only downside was that the shower is over the bath which isn't great at our age but there is a well placed hand rail which made it easy to get in and out of the shower. Lovely sun trap in the back garden to round off a day walking. Dedicated car parking seems to be essential in Hebden Bridge

  • "This was a lovely place to stay."

Priorities for us are King Size Bed (which we are used to and hate being cramped by anything smaller), 2 comfortable sofas, warmth and a parking space. Avaelie House delivered. The location was better than we could ever hoped for - level access into close by town centre (steep hills in Yorkshire!), next to a small river. Enjoyed watching the heron fishing every morning and the sound of running water. Would suggest hand rails for getting in and out of the shower - could be rather slippy.
