"This is a beautifully designed, cared-for house, in a charmingly peaceful street, very close to Ilkley’s thriving centre."

We were well briefed by the owner, who also dealt with an initial (quite trivial but important) check-in concern with immediate action and generosity. The house offers easy access not only to all that Ilkley has to offer, but is walking distance from immediate access to the Dales and Ilkley Moor itself. We will be back!

"Great stay."

Nice and comfortable property. No shoes allowed on carpets. Bring slippers! Tv a bit small for the room and not visible to whole room. It rained a bit so we did watch tv. Ilkley has good pubs and restaurants. Good running and walking. Lovely stay.

"We needed short term accommodation whilst our home was being renovated and The Kingsway provided a perfect solution."

Warm, spotlessly clean, cosy and stylish, the house was well equipped with everything we needed. The location is also perfect; a quiet street with parking for two cars, and a five minute walk into Ilkley with all its fantastic amenities. Thank you so much - highly recommended!

"The Kingsway is the most beautiful property, we were really blown away by how clean and simply stunning the cottage was."

The kitchen diner is great to have the social side of cooking and still sitting with friends, we found the games cupboard so enjoyed a game of cards. The toiletries were lovely and the welcome gift a nice touch. Beds were super comfortable and the linen was high end hotel standard. I cannot recommend this place to stay enough.

The property is beautifully decorated and extremely well equipped. Excellent location, only a short walk to Ilkley town centre - but on a very peaceful residential street. Would definitely stay here again if coming to visit family in Ilkley.

Cross the threshold into your new home-from-home and head straight into the fully-equipped kitchen to help rustle up tasty meals for the whole family that can then be enjoyed, as a group, around the dining table.

ILKLEY

Bolton Abbey 5 miles; Skipton 9 miles.

The old Spa town of Ilkley is the pivotal town of Wharfedale, undoubtedly the most popular of all the Yorkshire Dales. The area offers some of the most spectacular and unspoilt scenery in the land. For the walker it gives unrivalled tramping ground. High up on the moors next to the white-walled cottage of White Wells (where once donkeys carried gout-ridden gentlemen to be doused in the icy-cold moorland spring) visitors will see a carefully landscaped Victorian scene including two semi-artificial lakes and the river Wharfe meandering through the centre of the town. Ilkley still has a Victorian and Edwardian feel to it. Splendid shops, pubs, restaurants and cafés adorn the tree-lined streets. Bettys, without doubt the finest tea shop in Yorkshire, and therefore the world, is situated on The Grove. Lovely parkland, a choice of open air or indoor swimming pools and a family picnic area providing pleasure for all. It is the starting point of the 84 mile-long 'Dales Way' walk, which is breathtakingly beautiful! Nearby Bolton Abbey is one of the region's most scenic areas and the walk along the river to the 'Strid' is a must. Ilkley Moor is the subject of Yorkshire's unofficial anthem “On Ilkla Moor Baht at”.
